Remarks
I got the admission through Tamilnadu common entrance test. On those days the cut-off marks will be calculated from the higher secondary subjects( maths, physics, chemistry) for engineering ( physics, chemistry, biology) for medicine plus the entrance exam marks in TANCET. I think my institution has an inbuilt campus placement and excellent infrastructure. KCT is well known for its excellence in Coimbatore city. Excellent knowledgeable teachers and staff. Good sports complex.
Course Curriculum Overview
Good lab facilities. Excellent staffs. Teaching methods are practical and efficient. Faculties love interacting with students. We had 2 semesters In each year barring the first year which was considered to be a non-semester. Exams were a bit difficult but considering the Faculties we had, it was no big deal. I had about 59 students as college mates and the pass percentage was 98 %.
Fees and Financial Aid
I never applied for financial assistance since i offered to choose payment seat. The fee structure for free seat was about 40000 per year. For payment seat it was 80000 per year. Yes. These days colleges offer stipends for scheduled tribes students.
Campus Life
Very good libraries Each department conducts a symposium every year. The students portray their skills. Students run social groups also. I do not remember the group names now. But certainly, some of the were running social groups.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility was affordable . They provide really good meal. Only vegetarian food is available. Weekly menu and dividing system for students. We had to pay about 1000 rupees per month on those days. Afternoon rice sambar buttermilk and rasam is common for most week days. Morning and night the menu changes for tiffin Like pongal vadai dosai idli semiyaa.
