BITSMUN is one of the longest running and most eagerly awaited MUNs in India. With 400+ participants who engage in high quality of debate on various issues that affect the world APOGEE Over the years the Birla Institute Of Technology And Science, Pilani has built and maintained a reputation of imparting the right mix of education, experience, and ethics that form the basis for achieving success in the modern world BOSM The BITS Open Sports Meet, or BOSM, as all know it, is one of the largest student-managed Sports fests of the country. Oasis Oasis is one of the largest cultural festivals of India held by BITS-Pilani, Pilani Campus

Fees and Financial Aid

SBI opens stalls during the time of admission at both Goa & Hyderabad campuses. Since Pilani campus has branches of 3-4 banks inside the campus, they would probably be having better facilities. It is easy to avail loan to study at any of the campuses of BITS. Your father/mother would most probably have to act as guarantor. Although I don't exactly remember what I was asked to do, it would be useful if they could bring papers of whatever they intend to use as a guarantee. Having SBI account would be useful in case you are availing loan from SBI, otherwise, they would provide you a proforma for verification from nearest branch of the bank you intend to use to avail the loan.

Enough to make great friends (for both boys and girls). The sex ratio here is agonizingly skewed at 3.5 guys per girl. Lucky girls; they get a wide variety to choose from NSS has played a major role in BITS, Pilani, linking students with projects in adjacent villages. It undertook significant initiatives recently and we’d like to elaborate on the details and impact of these projects.

Research is an integral and important part of any higher education system. BITS Pilani actively promotes research among its staff and students. In addition to basic research, which is the backbone of any applied research, the Institute also gives adequate importance and support to applied research. Research at BITS relies on the motivated intellectual manpower pool available among its staff and students. Students undertake research projects as a component of their education program itself. Teachers conduct research as an integral part of their responsibilities since this enables them to assimilate and disseminate the knowledge as well as generate new knowledge.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement for M.Tech students usually begins in the 3rd semester, allowing students to build their technical knowledge and complete relevant projects. The TPC is active and brings in a mix of core and IT giants and research-driven organizations. QUALCOMM, TEXAS INSTRUMENTS, MICROCHIP, Marvel, Intel, SAMSUNG, and AMAZON regularly visit the campus. The highest package will be 30 LPA, mid and avg are approximately the same, about 24 LPA, approximately 80% students get placed through campus drives, while others pursue Ph.D and research projects. Personally, after completing my degree, I aim to expand my embedded system knowledge to work in the semiconductor industry, while also keeping the option of pursuing doctoral research abroad if the right opportunity arises
