If you want to enjoy college life along with studies, then LPU is the best place to be in. You will get to learn so much that you can do justice to your life anyhow. All the best.

I got direct admission and the main reason of opting LPU is the environment. You will get the same feel of college what you see in dreams and movies. Placements are good.

Course structure was well aligned and more focus on practical's. Best things is you can choose your area of interest and they will teach you that only. You can choose for extra subjects as per your interest, like Stock market, cinema, innovation and creativity etc. Overall it was good, some of the subjects were boring but that is the part of curriculum, you have to deal with it.

Yes, they do provide internship, they have their IT department called as Lovely Infotech and they provide internship, I don't have any idea around stipend they give. but you will find it useful.

Placements are decent, but don't depend 100% on college. Companies do visit campus each year but the crowd is too mush to get the placement, and most of the companies are not upto mark, some good companies also do visit. Avoid any backlogs and Re-appear during placement time, else many companies put their criteria not to consider students having backlog and Re-appear

If you walk around the college, you will definitely find any event going on in campus. Film stars do visit campus frequently for movies promotion. Even Sharukh Khan and Deepika padukone came for Chennai express promotion. Also, many of the punjabi movies have already been shoot in campus.

Bad this is fee, it so expensive, at my time it was 85k per semester. But if you are paying that much fee, then you can get many things to do like, you have a shopping mall inside campus, ATMs all around, gym, music classes, sports complex, stadium, food courts etc. It is really value for money.

There are banks and post office inside the campus, they offer loans, at the time of admission, many bank's personals will be there who offer you loan. And most of the Indian banks will give you loans for LPU.

LPU is the best place to be in if you want to do some extracurricular activities, you will find gym, shopping mall, music classes, tech fest, robotics, mechanical workshop, car workshop, boxing, competitions. I did not find much gender ratio difference in LPU, girls are really awesome.

Hostels are good, I have also heard LPU's hostel is the biggest hostel in Asia (Don't know fact). Hostels can accommodate around 20k student at once, each hostel is fully furnished, they have cafeterias, ATMs, study room, mess, shops, TV room, Wifi. Mess is also good if you only look at the menu. You will feel good taste in start but will feel bad once you get use to it. But I must say... Breakfast is awesome, you will get different variety of Parathas along with some other things.

Yes, LPU use to conduct Alumni meet in different cities and places. Those meet are really good and useful in terms of new friends, they must be working somewhere and they can help you getting in some good companies.

They have 3 internal exams and out of three 2 best are count. They have mid term and end term exams and those internal marks do get consider in final result. They give good gap between exams, so that you can prepare well. If you do not get through exam for the first time, don't worry, you will get three more chances to pass the exam, those are called as Re-appear and best thing is that it never reflects on your marksheet.

Probably now they take an entrance examination, but at my time, it was either from AIEEE or direct admission. Entrance must not be too tough, still, if you did not get through the entrance exam, you can go afterward to get a direct admission. I went directly to college, met some old students and ask them about college and placement, they will tell you the exact situation of college and placement.

Faculty was not as per the mark, they were mostly from local Punjab colleges, some of the faculty were good. But I suggest, don't depend too much on faculties. Many of the teachers will come and give lectures using projector with 0 knowledge. Overall you will find it good, if you are matured enough to handle your problem with yourself.
