Remarks
MIT has their own entrance exam. I got admission through it. It was of about 200 marks. I scored 168 and got CSE core, my preferred branch. It was an online exam due to COVID. Application fees were 1100.
Course Curriculum Overview
CSE is the future, hence I chose it because I was interested. The faculty are very well educated and have in-depth knowledge of what they're teaching. We had a trimester pattern, so we had exams three times a year, but now we've shifted to a semester pattern and it'll be only twice a year.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies offer internships, and students themselves apply before they even connect with the college. Job roles range from graphics designer to front-end and back-end developers, and a stipend is provided based on the amount of work completed.
Placement Experience
The average package is 6.5 LPA. On-campus placements are provided. The highest was 37 LPA. From the third year, students are eligible for campus placement and internships. GOOGLE, PAYTM, AMAZON, AMAZON, AMDOCS, etc. have visited. Placement provided is 100%. I haven't actually thought about my plans for now.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for Btech is 310 LPA. You have a scholarship opportunity based on your Jee or MHTCE scorecard. People have gotten the same. Since I'm a first-year student, I can't speak about the GPA scholarship. There is no such financial assistance, but yes, you can submit the fees in parts rather than all at once.
Campus Life
Aarohan is conducted in Jan or Feb mostly. There are many tech fests conducted like Nirmette, Vasundhara, etc. by the various clubs in college all year around. The MIT Library is HUGE. It has everything one could possibly ask for. Classrooms are well maintained. Sports and extracurriculars are fully supported. Many clubs are run by students, like Vega pod, Ninox Nature Club, etc.
