Course Curriculum Overview
I love mathematics. I always wanted to have a higher degree in Mathematics. Although there is a shortage of faculty but all of them give their best for us. All of them hold a PhD degree in Mathematics. Among all of them Professor Das has the best teaching style. There is some class test and after every 5-6 months there is a semester examination, following Calcutta University Syllabus. The question papers are also set by the University.
Internships Opportunities
I do not have received any internship offer till now and do not have that much knowledge about it also. Students who got such opportunities can tell you more about it. I do not have that much knowledge about it.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since it is a government college the fees is very very low.1725/- per year. Students get scholarship as compared to their ability and almost everyone received SVMCM from your department. Some of us also received INSPIRE Scholarship.
Campus Life
The college doesn't organize any fest. We have a central library and personal departmental library also. Almost all the famous books on graduation level mathematics are available . One room of our department have AC. Doesn't have that much sports facilities.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities for the girl is 'A' class. I am a boarder of the women hostel. The hostel offers luxurious rooms at a very low cost, only 1358/- per year. Although students have to pay 3000/- per month for food.
