The average professor and students ratio is 5:1. As my department is mathematics, this college is best in Calcutta University under mathematics for pursuing BSc mathematics hons. If you face any problem you can solve your problem within 15 mins from the student section.

Here you have to spend very little amount to peruse any undergraduate subject. It costs near about ?3-4k in the whole academic session to obtain any Bachelor's degree. The reason: It is observed under central government along with state government.
Campus Life
Well honestly you wouldn't see any fest happening in the campus. But you'll have departmental fresher's along with Sarasvati Puja, Holi etc. There is vast Library room and the common room in the college. There are many facilities available in the common room along with Indoor games and gym. Well there are a volley and badminton court too.
Hostel Facilities
There is a boy's hostel of the college named Baker Govt hostel and a girls hostel is also available under this college. There is a good canteen in the hostel. Well it's almost free of cost to stay here as it also come under central government.
