Remarks

40seats available in mathematics dept. For this course, I applied the application form from the college website. The application fee was almost 300 (actually I forget). I don't know about the reservation benefits.

Course Curriculum Overview

I love mathematics so I wanted to choose this subject. Our faculty members are good enough. They all have Ph.D. degrees. One of them is from IIT. Semester exam usually happens in 6mon, but we get 4months or less to complete our syllabus, it's tough for us.

Class Size: 23Course Fees: INR 1725 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The first admission fee was in 2015 and the exam fee was 355. And from the 3Rd semester, they took 1725 per year. They provide financial help, and Swami Vivekananda scholarship, inspire such scholarship a student can apply

Campus Life

We had less time. So I would not go to the library. Bigger than that, 2 years have passed in lockdown. So there is not much experience. However, I saw our college participating in sports like football and badminton. The facilities are all provided without any complaints. The infrastructure is old but very strong and good.

Hostel Facilities

4bed with distinct chair and table. Three fans and windows are also very good. Meals are also good nowadays. I registered for the hostel from the college website. Overall hostel room, bathroom good enough

Days well spent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.

My college offers very minimal placement for the branches of chemistry. Few Chemical manufacturing companies of haldia visits our college for placement. The avarage package for placed students is around 240000 per year.so as l come from the economics department I have access to the internships form college.

RKMVCC a college that tries to make students shine

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is impressive as it includes all the importaint subjects of several entrace exams. On extra the college provides internships for real world problem solving. In case of Computer Science students are working at NIC, CU, IIEST, NIT Patna, IISC and many other as interns. Exam happend in evey 2.5 month March (mid sem) May(end sem) September(mid sem), December(end sem) and the difficulty level of the exam is modarate.

Education in Maulana Azad College

I applied for almost all of the NAAC accredited A graded college. In each of those my name appeared for the selection list for admission.
