Remarks

The eligibility is the same as approved by University of Calcutta. Till last year, application was done through the college website in online mode. The admission process is fine, we can apply online and pay online when selected.

Course Curriculum Overview

I mostly chose this course because I loved mathematics. Faculty members are good, almost all of them are quite student friendly. The faculty: Teacher ratio is 2:23. All of the teachers have completed post doctoral research in various fields, and are experienced teachers.

Class Size: 26Course Fees: INR 1700 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

College fees are around 1700rs per year, which is quite cheap compared to the colleges I know. The college office is helpful when it comes to scholarship applications, (like Swami Vivekananda scholarship, Minority Scholarship etc.)and its approval.

Campus Life

The college holds a fest annually, which was temporarily discontinued over the last two year due to Covid 19. Wide range of books are available in our college library. Classrooms are air-conditioned, equipped with projectors for smart classes. Sport events are held every year in winter. A drama club is organized by students of various departments.

Placement Experience:

Placement or internship depends on the course Duration . Overall placement is good . The highest package is 1cr/ yr. And the average package 2to3 lakh/ yr. After getting the bsc. degree in Forensic science, I want to prepare for compitive exam or prepare for higher studies.

Education in Maulana Azad College

I applied for almost all of the NAAC accredited A graded college. In each of those my name appeared for the selection list for admission.
