Remarks

For admission, participants had to attend JoSAA counselling, which was held a month after the JEE advanced results were revealed. The University was at a good location near my locality and half of my cousins have got there graduations and post graduation from this college which helped me to be more clear with my choice of picking this college for the admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

CSE and ECE are the only two options. And being a tech and computer enthusiastic I choose CSE btech because this was my interest and also the scope and demand for this course was high. The faculty is mediocre, and because it is a young institute, it is always changing. The technique of instruction also good.

Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

People are allowed for internships in their third year and placements in their fourth year. Students complete a summer internship with a company at the conclusion of their third year. The employer provides a PPO (pre-placement offer) upon completion of the internship. A lot of other options were available there for the exposure. The 6 LPA was average package and there companies were TATA, Wipro, tcs , etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There is no financial aid from the university. Only state government scholarships were offered. The fee structure is set in stone. On-campus career opportunities are plentiful. There were a lot of enterprises there that provided 12 LPA and higher. My fee in this course was 5 lakhs which I had paid in installments.

Campus Life

From school when I was shifted first in the college then I was a bit nervous but then I enjoyed the college campus a lot because all clubs and events are sponsored and organised solely by the mentoring institute. The site has been purchased, and work on a separate campus is under underway. So I had a fun experience.

Placements at Ahmedabad University are structured and well-organised. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and the placements cell starts preparing us earlier through workshops, mock interviews and resume sessions. A good range of companies visit the campus, including consulting firms, it companies, finance and analytics roles, start-ups and well-known multinational organisations. The number of offers varies each year, but most visiting companies recruit for roles like business analysts, software developers, marketing associates, finance trainees and operations roles.

Placement at GEC Gandhinagar are decent but not as strong as the top engineering college in Gujarat while a few repeatable companies visit the frequency and variety could be better many students with good gpas and project work seek your decent job either through the collegial or by actively applying on their own for those who dont get campus placement the college still provide a solid foundation you can pursue higher studies take certification course or enter the IT or core industry thought of campus jobs overall the experience prepares you sufficiently for the next step But its wise to Proactive about your career.

Placement Experience:

Their is an placement faculty in my college, many companies like torrent, birla, tcs etc and many more companies visit our college. Also our college provides internship for students. The average salary pakage is about 3 lakhs which is less and about 65% of students are placed every year. Highest pakage of my college is about 8lacks per annum. About my plan after completing degree is that if college place me for about salary upto 6 lakhs then i will place otherwise i will go for preparation of "GPSC" exam and set the carrier their.

7 semester company will come to recruitment to students. Like TCS, Medcart, Mahindra and many ahmedabad local companies. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa. Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.

Placements of the college is good and students can start their placement drive from 7th semister and can sit in on-campus placement. From 7th semister students become eligible to sit in the placement of the college. The college providess oncampus placements and has various connections and ties with various companies like Google amazon and many other. Last year total of 75% students got placed with average of 11lpa package and highest package was 60 lpa. Also this college helps you get internship opportunities right from 2nd year which is very good.

Campus placement is available in our college Most of students get plavement it means 80% to 85% students get placement After 3 year student get internship and then student get placement . Lot of companies come for placement like Tata, Reliance etc... Our college placement ratio is Lowest placement package is around 2 Lakh per year average placement package is around 3-4 Lakh per year And Highest placement package is around 6-7 Lakh per year.

Review of iiit surat

I want to study in western part of india i.e. gujarat or maharashtra. So I've encountered all best colleges in these two states, offcourse iitb will be number 1 but i have just cleared advanced and not even scored good marks in it and in mains i got 40k rank so i couldn't get into circuital branch in nit nagpur and nit surat, so i have decided iiit nagpur , iiit surat and iiit pune. Unfortunately i couldn't get into iiit pune due to high cutoff and got seat in iiit surat in csab 2024.
