Remarks
The college management is excellent and shows great potential to keep up with changing times.
Entrance Preview
I entered through my class 12th board exam's score. I had filled the Delhi University form for entering in after which I got selected in Kiroori Mal for admission based on merit.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum has been efficient throughout the 2 years which I have spent here. These cover the essential areas required by a Bachelor of Commerce undergraduate. As expected from the college that comes under the management of a nation wide deemed university.
Internships Opportunities
The college does provides internship opportunities multiple times during a year. The general stipend in the field of marketing is around 15,000 INR/month.
Placement Experience
Considering that the internship opportunities have been fairly advantageous, the placement and job opportunities are great. Major companies and firms visit the campus at the annual placement drive wherein the package ranges from 3.6 to 6 lakhs per annum.
College Events
Renaissance, the annual college fest is the talk of the town evevry year. It has been deemed one of the most cool events held annualy in Delhi University. Sar-e-Aam is an event organised by the dramatics society, The Players. The annual fest of Musoc, ‘Surmanjari’, is also famous for its display of creativity and talent.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college maintains a very low fee structure. It costs around Rs. 8,850 per annum for B.Com Courses in this college. The fee structure makes it possible for students of every part of the demograph in India to gain quality education and thus live a successful life.
Fees and Financial Aid
Although I haven't personally availed any scholarship or loan facility, I deem them efficient and greatly helpful.
Campus Life
The gender ration is quite remarkable thus ensuring no gender business on campus. The dorm parties are quite entertaining. The cultural societies are quite active. Student diversity is sufficient and tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status is amicable.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is an integral part of the college family. Its 89 rooms house about I70 students both from India and abroad. It has an intercom facility. Hostel seats are allocated to various classes/courses, and admission is made on the basis of merit. Thus, ensuring equal distribution of facilities among it's many students.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is diverse and rich with great personalities. The senior students are a great help.
Exam Structure
The exam structure has a luke warm effect wherein neither they are frequent leaving us with a hectic day nor do we slack off feeling chilled out. The general twice a semester examination and the flexible weekly lab schedule have been efficient in providing quality education.
Faculty
The faculty is at par with my expectations that came along with the fame of studying in a college under the world renowned Delhi University. The teachers are highly qualified and efficient in imparting knowledge. The enthusiasm and zeal every teacher brings to class is unparalleled.
