Entrance Preview
Selection was through CBSE exam percentage. No entrance exam was required. I chose this selection process because i wanted to pursue BSC hnrs.
Course Curriculum Overview
Excellent curriculum. Well designed course structure. less stress. You are able to give time to other activities. Give yourself some time for further improvements. Still improvements can me within this course specially in Du colleges as this they are the hub of courses like BSc
Internships Opportunities
No the college does not provide us with any internship. The student on their own have to apply for internships in various companies.
Placement Experience
Very few people tend to sit for campus placements. The general scenario is that people apply for different post graduation courses like MBA, aur any foreign university. Very few apply for jobs. Although companies do come to the the campus conducting placement drives.
College Events
There are a number of events celebrated. We have diff departments that come under cultural,technical and literature. Like drama, dance etc. Each department organised its own festival. There are number of workshops conducted by diff academies and companies.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible for all types of students. Since it is a government university so the fees structure is quite standardized. Making it affordable for everyone. It is just the required amount.
Fees and Financial Aid
yes they do provide scholarship schemes to students who perform well. If you are a performer you will for sure get value at this college.
Campus Life
sex ratio. Was good enough. We had people from various states, religion etc. There was no restriction to them. DU colleges are the best when it comes to organizing festivals, workshops etc. Everyone participates. Very few are the audience. Sports competitions are promoted a lot here.
Hostel Facilities
Actually we live in delhi. So facilities like hostel and pg's were not our requirements. But hostels were quite affordable. Although the mess was not worth the money. People generally took dibbas from private agencies. Their charges were a bit high but what to do when your stuck with such unhygienic mess.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes seniors were quite helpful. They would help us in our subjects, project worlds and assignments etc.
Exam Structure
Very good it is centralized. They do leave us with a hectic day, but they are properly placed in a systematic manner. Not making it difficult to attend. Exams are centralized hence there is no chance of cases like cheating etc.Also now the results are declared online making it a completely honest result.
Faculty
Was not fully satisfied with the facilty. It seemed as if they are just for the purpose of money. Very few tend to devote their time to the students, work with them. Else rest of them just dont care. This attitude should be changed. You need to maintain the reputation of DU. Not degrade it.
