Remarks

i took admission on the basis of my 12th class percentage, eligibility criteria was minimum of 75% , you can find application forms , fees and dates on the college website or by visiting the college Itself. admission process was too smooth

i chose this course due to its need in the industry nowadays. i wanted to become a software engineer. the facilities are good, all are specifically qualified as per the requirement and most of them are PhD holders

internships are offered to the students in large numbers so they can nourish their skills and be ready for the industry. companies offering interships are wipro, infosys , tcs etc. so many roles are offered and stipend is according to the role.

college placements are good as compared to the competing colleges and universities students become eligible in the 3rd year for the placements. some of the companies which visited the college are-Flipkart, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, etc. highest average last year was 40 lakh per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

fees structure is normal as in the most colleges , firstly we need to register both from online or in offline mode and then we can pay our fees. fees hike is not there every year , if it's there then it is minimal. financial assistance was my parents.

Campus Life

annual fest at the college is named as parivartan and so many stars come every year . there are 8 clubs for students in which students can join and participate in various activities. there are more than 6 libraries in the campus having a number of books. flaming desire is a literary club.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

I chose Chandigarh Engineering College Laundry over the other due to its strong placement record affordable structure and good industry connections first up I applied to Chitkara University and Lovely Professional University but found C see more cost effective with a well structured curriculum.
