Remarks

The admission process was smooth as I've already looked into the college and the application form was found and filled online the application fee was around 2000. I didn't avail any reservation benefits but the admission process was effortless

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I opt for this course because of the frequent visit to hotels with my dad and also my cousins being in the hospitality industry for a long period of time. There are 2-3 faculty for each and every department so it's easy to manage as the student ratio is accordingly set and distributed in sections. The faculty is really experienced and never stops learning till now as Arpit Sir (Faculty of F&B) recently took their exam through IGNOU wanting to broaden his scale of knowledge which also helps the students in learning also his teaching method is really easy and quick to understand along with every faculty.

Placement Experience

5

In the final year, the student becomes eligible for campus placement. Roseate, Hyatt and etc visited. The highest package offered is around 35,000 as per the company and the highest-profile that they offer. 90% of students get placements directly from college. Would like to do MT after getting the degree from the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The international placements are provided to us for France, Malaysia etc and the domestic placements for Taj, Oberoi, Marriott etc. College also provided us with scholarships at the time of admission for those who score well in their 12th standard.

Campus Life

5

Sessions are organized by our college, recently Chef Enzo Oliveri gave us a visit and taught us about Italian cuisine. Sports day was also organised by our college and rewards were also given. A rookie chef competition was organised for those wanting to take a step ahead in culinary and show their skills.

Other Applied Colleges

Hansraj College | BA (Hons) English

Wanted to do something practical and realted to hospitality industry

Course Curriculum Overview:

university of delhi have have started compulsory of courses such as VAC ,SEC and many other skill enhancement courses so that you not only rely upon your degree but you enhance your Interpersonal Skills , Communication Skills ,Speaking Skills as in future all jobs and placements are skill based not degree based so for enhanceing and developing a good personality these courses played a major role. The timings of examination were between 2,30-5,30 Pm 3 hours exam water facility was provided during the exam tenure. If in case you forgot to attend or submit your either of IA/CA you may get an essential repeat er even iof you pass in the written exam .

Course Curriculum Overview:

British classics, Indian writing, postcolonial literature builds a strong foundation in literary analysis, critical thinking, and interpretation, which are useful skills. As for comprehensiveness, the curriculum is quite broad. It covers multiple literary periods, genres, and critical theories over the three years, so you’re not really missing out on the essentials. In that sense, it feels academically complete. But sometimes, it leans more towards breadth over depth you move quickly from one topic to another.

Placement Experience:

There's a placement cell and placement drives do happen in college but genuinely the package offered is not really considerable. After the 4th semester students are considered to sit in the placement drives though I would say it is not very efficient and fruitful.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was overall good and being a economics honours courses it was challenging at times. The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. Talking about the areas of improvement and teaching methods there are none. The exams of the respective subject are to happen. They take test 1 , test 2 and there is final exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.
