Remarks

Daulat Ram College always aimed at quality education and is providing it too. But infrastructure of the college is bad. Although it is improving as the renovation work is in progress. The administration staff needs to be more active.

Entrance Preview

I always wanted to pursue a degree in chemistry. So I got admission in Daulat Ram college of university of Delhi by clearing the cutoffs. The procedure for admission here is by clearing the cutoffs based on merit or by applying eca or sports quota which provides you some relaxation in the cutoffs.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

This college aims at quality education. Along with theoretical knowledge practical knowledge is also given to students. Various innovation and research projects are running under the faculty members in which students work and gain experience and knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

I don't think there is any internship provided by the college. The placement cell of the college hardly works.

Placement Experience

3

The placement cell of the college do not function properly. Hardly any company came. The placement ratio was very low. Only 4 students got placed. They were from the commerce and economics department. Also me being in a science course there is no placement opportunity.

College Events

3.5

Every department hold its annual fest in the college. Various seminar and competitions are organized by different societies of the college. The nss event organizes many events throughout the year. Annual day, Sports day and Miss DRC events are held in the college at a very grand level.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite feasible. Science courses have more fees as compared to others due to their additional practical sessions. Apart from that college also provides scholarship to some sc/St students based on their financial status. Exam fees is charged differently.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided to some financially backward students. Some of the scholarships are also available for the students of reserved categories.

Campus Life

3.5

Life at North Campus is simply best. Students get exposure due to various activities conducted by all the colleges. Many competitions are held within the college which helps the students to boost their confidence and personality. Every student is allowed to have his/her own opinion and motivated to stand by it.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Daulat Ram College has the best hostel in the University of Delhi. It has both AC and non AC rooms. Sanitation facility is good. Mess also provides good food. Rules and regulations are very strict. Apart from this various pg options are also available for the students nearby in Hudson lane, vijay nagar and kamla nagar.

Alumni/Alumna

I don't know any alumni of the college personally but most of them are involved in government sector. But my seniors are pretty helpful.

Exam Structure

Being a science student we have regular practical sessions of 4-5 hours. Along with this theory classes are also conducted so this leaves the schedule pretty hectic. Exams are conducted by the university of Delhi alike in every college so if one has to score he/she has to study.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college is very intellectual. Some of them take extra pain to make students understand the subject. Some teachers are very friendly and deal with students with utmost care while some of them are very strict and reserved. But all of them have great knowledge about their respective subjects.
