Remarks

The Jadavpur University is in the city of Kolkata, which is most goodful for a student to make his life pretty... The admission process takes a process, students have to write an entrance exam of the campus and the student has passed out 10+2. And the application form can find on the internet sources.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Jadavpur university consists of faculty with very experienced and who are too good at teaching and they have degrees in their lives. And I choose this course becoz I always have the interest to know new things. The exams are may difficult if the students are not well-practiced. The ratio of faculty to the student is well good

Internships Opportunities

Internships opportunities are also for students which are chances to get a job easily for students. The students from the 5th semester are getting participating in internships. Companies like verso, google takes place in internships. And the faculty are also taking part to make it easy for students in any heavy and risky projects.

Placement Experience

The placements in the college have a well-defined ratio. It's about 85 percent of placements. The companies which visit our campus are Infosys, Amazon, Facebook, Google, etc. Its average highest package is 40 lakhs and the lowest average package is 10 lakhs. My plan after getting my degree is to keep a company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is too good but only when the student gets entrance into the campus. It's too affordable. There are some scholarships also avail for students. To make the experience all this sure to get to write the entrance test.

Campus Life

The campus life is too pretty. Every student will enjoy the place of campus, library, ground, etc. Every student needs to enjoy college life. There are some social clubs also there for students. The library has all the needed books by students. The campus has sports courts like cricket, badminton, etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel faculty are well good. The student will lead a happy hostel life. The meal quality is too good which consists of all types of foods like for the students from all sides of India. The registration process will be online to book their rooms. Overall the hostel life is too awesome in one word.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

Like my main was getting to IIT which I couldn't as U couldn't clear JEE advanced.So my next option was to choose between NITS and JU.So clearly choose JU because it completes our BE in 10k whereas the fees of NITs are really high.So as I gave JEE in 2024 my jee main rank was something around 64K (95.5 percentile) and my wbjee rank was 2341 and got alloted food Technology and biochemical engineering in jadavpur university.The process to get into our college is to give wbjee and if u are a general your rank should be within 2500 to get into this premium college....Read More

Homebound Forward with Jadavpur University

I have always wanted to study in Jadavpur University in one of their literature departments since I was a kid. This was a way of achieving a tiny dream of mine. Moreover, the Comparative Literature Department is the best in all entire Asia and the first one in the country. I wanted to experience the greatness of this course and how the canons of this literature were formed here. It is also the topmost State Public University and 9th in NIRF I wanted to be a part of an institution that could be great to this extent. The admission took place on the basis of a merit-based entrance examination. The seats are limited; therefore, only the top 15 students out of almost 800-1000 who appeared for the exam were selected. The Pros and Cons of Joining Jadavpur University Masters of Arts in Economics

1) I applied for Delhi School of Economics, however couldn't manage an admission due to the extreme cutoff on CUET exam for the same. I had confirmed admission from North Bengal University, however it was not feasible since I had a choice in Jadavpur University. Jadavpur University has the best rank among all other colleges I had a confirmed admission to, so I chose this University. 2) I wanted to study in Delhi School of Economics, but couldn't make it there due to the extensive cutoff in CUET which I unfortunately couldn't clear. 3) Jadavpur University conducts its own internal exam for admission into its esteemed Masters of Arts [M.A.] programme. However one can get through by CUET exams as well, however that needs a decent score.
