Entrance Preview

I wrote Kerala entrance exam. I got a decent rank around 4000 out of 1 lakh students appeared. I chose this college because this is one of the best colleges in Kerala. For mechanical engineering the rank would be 3 or 4. Since I achieved a decent rank, I got admission in this college.

Internships Opportunities

There is no internship for this course. But there are lot of campus recruitments that will start from the third year of the four year course. Lot if IT companies are taking minimum of 150 students per year and are giving minimum of 25000 starting salary. Lot if other companies are also coming.

College Events

Every year there is a cultural event named Sanskriti. It will last for three days. Lot of events with a very good price money are also conducted. At the last day of the event, there will be a music show by prominent playback singers.

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

Navigating MACE: A student's journer Through Campus Life, Academics and Oppurtunities.

I chose this college over other colleges primarily for its autonomous status. This allows MACE to have more current and industry relevent curiculum unlike colleges with fixed university syllabus. Admission to MACE was based on keam rank. Although I had a good rank, it wasnt high enough to get my preferred branch in NIT calicut or CET.
