Yes, I took an entrance exam named NIMCET for the MCA course for getting admission to the National Institute of technology. This course is available in 10 NITS only. The duration of this course is 3 years from NIT. In this examination, there is a seat quota for SC/ST and General EWS. This exam is being conducted by one of the NIT among these 10 NITS and the application form is available at the official website of NIT which is going to conduct the NIMCET.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty in the college is quite good. This course is of 3 years from NITs. The teacher-student ratio is approx 1:4. Most of the teachers are holding thePh.D degrees. and some are PhD scholars. Term exams are quite difficult if you don't start the subject deeply.

We have offered the placement at the start of the 3rd year. Around 86+% of students are placed from the batch of 2022. So many software companies like amazon, Amdocs, Deloitte, zscalar, sap labs etc. Average packages offered by companies are around 7 lac per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

In this college we have two categories for MCA one is for regularity and another is for self-finance. So only students which belong to the regular category get government scholarships. Sc/ST, OBC, and minority students get the government scholarships like post-matric scholarships from the central government. We get the job from different software companies like FAANG, Amdocs, zscalar, Delloite etc.

Campus Life

The campus has so much greenery and a good atmosphere. And also have a big sports ground. We have so many events like techspardha for tech fest and cultural fest as confluence. In this, we have so many clubs like PG club, Mexpert society etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is designed to teach the basic and fundamental subjects of computer science to students. In each subject, the difficulty level is below moderate. There are some subjects which meet the industry standards and prepare students for jobs in market. But many subjects are out-dated and their syllabus is not upto standard mark of industry requirements. There is an urgent need to update the syllabus and make it more industry demands-oriented. The teaching methods used are good but some updates can make them more better. Less focus is given on practical knowledge and labs. In each semester, you will have sessional exams two times for all 5 subjects. In each year, there are two semesters and in each semester you will havee final exams in the month of December and May.

I choose this college cause, I am interested in this branch and I don't have any prior interest in any particular colleges, in this college I am getting the particular branch I am interested in,while there are few colleges which are providing me same branch but they have some limitations like there infrastructure is bad or crowd is not that wonderful like here people are generous and motivated you can't find the same everywhere.
