Admission into the college is through the NEET-UG exam. For General candidates, the cutoff is at 250 AIR, for SC candidates at 7500 AIR and for ST candidates at 20000 AIR. Application for the college can be done during the MCC Central Counselling held after the NEET-UG results are published. This course (MBBS) is one of the most prestigious, rewarding and satisfactory courses in the world. In ABVIMS the faculty-student ratio is very good with there being 4-7 professors and 8-9 Senior Residents for every batch of 100 students per department. Every single faculty is extremely qualified with the best degrees and highest experience in the field. Exams are held very frequently and are quite difficult and require students to study sincerely throughout the year.

The internship includes all the medical departments with a stipend of 24,000 per month. It evolves a student into a doctor and gives very high level of exposure to hospital scenarios. Students become Junior Residents after internship and can further apply for post-graduation Or can apply for jobs under the private or government hospitals.

After the 5th year/ internship students are eligible for jobs. Students get easily placed into private and government hospitals and can also apply for post-graduation. The internship salary is around 24,000. After placement salary starts at around 1,00,000.

The course fee is 36,000 per year and students with an annual family income of less than 6 lacs can apply for scholarships. The hostel fee is 500 per month. The stipend is available during the internship (5th year) and is around 24,000 which is the highest in the country.

The annual fest held is REVELS, and usually is conducted around September. The library is one of the best and most well-equipped in the country, with most books, magazines, and journals pertaining to medical fields present. The classrooms/lecture theatres are large, air-conditioned, and have whiteboards and smart screens. The auditorium is state-of-the-art. A plethora of societies e.g literary, dance, quiz, etc. is present.

The hostel provides single, double, and triple sharing rooms. Meal quality is standard and hygienic. The menu has variety and quality. Mess fees are 3000 per month. Hostel registration begins after admission into college. The locality is one of India's best, with the Rashtrapati Bhavan being less than a kilometer away, Connaught Place being just 1 km far, and amazing metro and transportation connectivity.
