Course Curriculum Overview

4

My cousin didi his MBBS from VMMC and he enspired me a lot regarding my studies to enter a med college and my studies. And as he told and as I imagined my college life, it is exact what I thought. Too fun and much more to study. In 5 year coursw we have our clinical exposure for about 4 years which helps us to deal real life problems. Exams are held in every 2-3 months and difficulty level is medium, I'll say

Internships Opportunities

5

Internship is mandatory in MBBS, and have to attend all the departments in 1 year like Medicine, Surgery, OBG, Preventive and social medicine for 6 weeks Anesthesia, orthopedics, psychiatry and radio for 2 weeks

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure in my First year was ?37,000 and ?41,000 in second year and same in Third and Fourth year for all categories. Hostel fee is ?12,000 per annum i.e. ?1,000 per month which is very good seeing the facilities provided vy the institute.

Campus Life

5

When I entered in ABVIMS, mine was second batch and there was not so good senior to junior interaction due to COVID but after that RML showed an exponential curve toward the curriculum and the fest was amazing, the star of our fest (the REVELS) was Darshan raval

Hostel Facilities

4.5

20 storied building. Each room having 2 beds, 1 almirah, 1 study table, 1 small table, geyser in each bathroom, western toilet, centralised AC. Meal is average in mess and canteen, but snacks are good. Student have to apply for hostel in starting of course, but can apply later on too.

Admission

I applied for MAMC, VMMC, RML and UCMS. And I didn't got admission in MAMC and VMMC and got my seat in RML in first round. And took seat here. And I was getting all the rest colleges too but didnt go for councelling. I was rejected by MAMC, VMMC as my rank was not not as good for them.

Faculty

5

Faculty to student ratio is very good and is very approachable and they helps a lot with their experiences. Dr Nitin Aggarwal (Surgery), Dr Renuka (OBG), Dr Minakshi chaswal (Physiology), Dr Sachin Mittal (FMT) are the few and best faculties I've ever seen in this institute, they helps a lot to me regarding my studies. Few faculties are there whom I can't mention but they don't like much to interact to students or it's their nature that we can't perceive. 2 mid-sem, 2 mid-term, 1 sentups(pre-proffs) , and Final exams (Profesional exams)

Other Applied Colleges

Vardhman Mahavir Medical College - [VMMC] | Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

Because at that time ABVIMS and Dr RMLH was a new institute and at the time for preparation for NEET VMMC and MAMC were my dream college. But after taking admission in ABVIMS I know that it is also a good institute and will be above all on future.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is mostly standard, but its relevance is super high because of the massive patient load at SJH. That clinical exposure is the key thing that prepares you for both real life and NEET PG later—that’s why I chose VMMC. Improvements? We need less lecturing and more interactive case discussions and maybe more emphasis on research. Exams are non-stop, seriously! We have internals/semester exams every 3-4 months. They are tough (50% passing), but they force you to study well for the final big Proffs. It’s tiring, but it works.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very well structured and includes detailed study of all the aspects of medicine which is very relevant in today's world. Since mbbs curriculum is more about practical and less about theory we get a really good patient exposure which makes us ready to deal with patient problems in real life. The course curriculum can be made a little less hectic as in fourth year there are 11 subjects to cover so they can be distributed equally in all the other years and teaching methods can be made more interactive instead of professors just reading the slides monotonously

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of mbbs is very comprehensive and makes you capable of handling medical emergencies, and not miss out on diagnosing critical cases. With the new CBME curriculum by nmc in place, additional focus is also given on the AETCOM (attitude, ethics and communication) module which is aimed at improving the quality of healthcare professionals produced by this country.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately. We have exams Nearly every 3 months, which can be tough to manage, considering that you have to score an average of more than 50% in them . Difficulty level is intermediate
