Entrance Preview

I took entrance in CA CPT and my exam will held on December 13 and I had chosen this course because I like accountancy very much and for account CA is the best course and umeschandra college is one of the best college for doing CA course.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure is very good and a lots of different types of research on different activities and the teachers teaching in a very smooth manner and we get lots of knowledge from our seniors and teachers.

Internships Opportunities

Lots of companies came in our college but some of the companies like linc, ocean.

Placement Experience

Many job opportunities come in our college from different companies like linc, dabour and they offer us for various Jo opportunities.

College Events

Most of the festivals our college holds some of them are Republic day, Annual sports, Inauguration day, Independence day, Annual social day etc and this all festivals are celebrated in a big hall and lots of students take parts in activities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college gives scholarships for deserving candidates students who scores good marks in Calcutta university exams they will got free studentship.

Campus Life

Our college is not a co-ed college only boys are reading in this college in a well disciplined manner and all types of religious people are welcomed in the college and there in no problems regarding cast.

Alumni/Alumna

Mh experience is very good in the college and the behaviour of the students union is also very good there is no chance of ragging in the college and I had a great and well experience in my college.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell club which functions in the college itself which is efficient in providing over 67 to 98% of students with placements. This percentage can vary for different years and different courses. The college has been successful in attracting top recruiters like deloitte, wipro, TCS, and leader companies from various other sectors. Packages vary significantly from 4 to 6 LPA up to 24LPA. After getting my degree i am planning to first make sure that i have completed my CA course that i am pursuing alongside. And then going ahead with either a job outside kolkata or open a business in kolkata itself.

Having fun at St. Xavier's

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum aligns well with the professional courses like CA and CMA. it has a lot of classes like value added course, modern indian language etc. which help us grow overall. The seminars are very helpful. We submit presentations on rela world topics which prepare us beyond the clasroom. It could be improved to reduce the excess theory portions. The frequency and timing is wonderful.

Beyond Books : Life at St. Xaviers

Placement Experience:

The students from their 3rd year become eligible for campus placement. Different companies including the Big 4 like Deloitte KPMG etc made offers in 2024-25 and the average package offered in BCOM was 4.5 LPA. I plan on sitting for the placements after i get my degree, that is if im not pursuing my articleship at the time.

Painted my college life with the brush of kindness

Flexibility in attendance is the reason I choose this college. As 75% attendance is compulsory , college can't help us in that but this college provide linancy. In other colleges they nag alot for coming college daily but in this college you can easily skip one day in a week. I didn't applied to much college and no I didn't get rejected. Cost structure is the reason I choosed this college over others. Fees is very nominal and affordable here . I had my admission in the year 2021.
