- UCC is the government commerce college of Kolkata and fees is almost eliminated here.
- Even after low fees studies and faculties quality has not been compromised.
- Placements have been around 30-40k range so far and around half the batch is placed every session.

- I wish more area is alloted to the college as it's as tiny as a rabbit.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course is amazing and B.Com (Hons) is a course which maximum students of any city pursue. The reason is simple as we need more and more accountants as soon many new companies are being registered. Hence AI can take jobs but definitely not of accounting professionals and our course makes us perfect accountants.
Internships Opportunities
Definitely the connect of the college cab be gauged by this as around 20 names gave us intenrships and therefore many students managed to get the internship through college. Around 8000 was stipend offered as we just finished our first year so we were raw for them.
Placement Experience
At our college placements are good as for government college to have placements is an achievement. ITC and EY and some banks as well we have everything or rather every sector covered because account's jobs are industry proof.
Fees and Financial Aid
At UCC, fees is nothing as 6000 a year and that for B.Com (Hons) is nothing. Also we have to pay semester wise so the fees payment becomes even more easy as just 3000 a semester. This is as I am from general category otherwise SC/ST and some students from lower category don't even have to pay anything at all as they get a lot of scholarships.
Campus Life
Christan, Valentine's and all are happening at our college as DJ is organized and even through there is not much space in the college the students find their way to dance to the tunes. A four floor building with all admin and classes in same and even library is all we have in the name of infrastructure.
Admission
Private universities were beyond my affordable capacity and therefore I chose a government college as the fees was in my budget. I would have had admissions in any college or Kolkata be it Bhawanipur or Goenka but i still chose this and the teaching level hasn't disappointed me a single bit.
Faculty
Calcutta University stalwarts are the ones who have been hired by our college to teach us. We have extra ordinary faculties as they teach us with giving examples within the class like you borrowed from him/her and then how the accounts will be written for that. So how to make sure that class laughs, is what our faculties take great care of.
Night Life
Our college library is accessible for us till 6 pm and we can issue the books and take it along. Nearby we have a gym and fitness centre and college road have both the options of street food and cafes which serves coffees and pizzas.
