Remarks

The sole way to get admission to this institution is through NEET. Candidates need physics chemistry and biology. The college though started MBBS late, has a huge number of experienced faculty and residents. The Hospital is one the best in the whole country and has one of the largest numbers of beds (opd load). College also provides hostel facilities to distant individuals. Neet application form released on NTAs official website. The admission process through online should be a bit faster than the present scenario other than that it's pretty streamlined.

4

The course curriculum is designed by NMC and followed by all medical colleges in India. The whole course is divided into 4 years + a year of internship. There are 2 term exams and one pre University and University professional examination of MBBS course conducted by IPU, Delhi. The faculty is pretty experienced and well informed.

4.5

The hostel is only provided to students who are distant from the college. The hostel is situated 1.5 km away from the college and provides nice accomodation with an attached washroom, lift and double bedrooms. Some other accomodation types are also there. Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is mostly standard, but its relevance is super high because of the massive patient load at SJH. That clinical exposure is the key thing that prepares you for both real life and NEET PG later—that’s why I chose VMMC. Improvements? We need less lecturing and more interactive case discussions and maybe more emphasis on research. Exams are non-stop, seriously! We have internals/semester exams every 3-4 months. They are tough (50% passing), but they force you to study well for the final big Proffs. It’s tiring, but it works.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very well structured and includes detailed study of all the aspects of medicine which is very relevant in today's world. Since mbbs curriculum is more about practical and less about theory we get a really good patient exposure which makes us ready to deal with patient problems in real life. The course curriculum can be made a little less hectic as in fourth year there are 11 subjects to cover so they can be distributed equally in all the other years and teaching methods can be made more interactive instead of professors just reading the slides monotonously

Curriculum of mbbs is very comprehensive and makes you capable of handling medical emergencies, and not miss out on diagnosing critical cases. With the new CBME curriculum by nmc in place, additional focus is also given on the AETCOM (attitude, ethics and communication) module which is aimed at improving the quality of healthcare professionals produced by this country.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately. We have exams Nearly every 3 months, which can be tough to manage, considering that you have to score an average of more than 50% in them . Difficulty level is intermediate
