Remarks

After the results of my CAT exam, I applied to various colleges and NIT Agartala was one of them. NIT offers the best course structure and placement opportunities for the students. I filled out the application form for MBA online. Eligibility criteria state that one should have an excellent CAT score along with 55% in graduation. The admission process went very smoothly without any hustle-bustle.

Course Curriculum Overview

This management program is inclusive of all the technical, human, and conceptual skills necessary for a professional career or successful manager. Course content is taught with the help of case studies and some real-life industry examples. Strength of the class is kept to minimum to ensure efficient learning of the students. All the professors were PhD holders in the field of HR and some in the field of management.

Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Placement Experience

I got two job offers after sitting for the placements during my final year. 90% of the batch got placed in good companies. The highest CTC went to Rs. 36 LPA. My friends got more than three job offers from domestic MNCs. Companies that participated in the placements were Havells, Axis Bank, Future Group, Karvy Group, Vedanta, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Mphasis, L&T Infotech, ABB Limited, Samsung, Ashok Leyland, Oracle.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

There are numerous scholarships and financial aids provided by the college for the assistance of students. Rs. 1.31 lakhs is the total amount of the fee structure for the MBA course. Some of the scholarships are: Post Madhyamik Scholarship, National Handicapped Finance Development Scholarship, North Eastern Scholarship, ONGC Scholarship, IOCL Scholarship, Special Scholarship Scheme for North Eastern Region Under UGC, Dr. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for Economically Backward Class (EBC) students, Scholarship Programme for Diaspora Children.

Campus Life

I had heard so many stories about the campus life of NIT and now I can say I have experienced every part of it. The cultural event of the college has my heart every time. We used to start preparing months before the actual event. Infrastructure of the campus is very good. Classes and labs are properly ventilated with all the latest tech equipment. Sports event was also a main attraction for the students.

Great Campus, Good Placements and Excellent Culture.

Placement Experience:

In the case of MBA students become eligible in 4th semester for placement. They prepared you from 3rd semester for the campus jobs. From the second semester onwards, students are eligible for the management programme. Most placements have decreased as a result of covid, and firms prefer online interviews. By far, my highest LPA as an MBA was acquired at a rate of 5 LPA. In our class, 60% of students received employment offers. I'm studying for the IBPS exam and hope to start working at a Public Sector Bank shortly.

Admission:

I opted for this course as I was passionate about doing masters in business. I selected the particular institution as the teaching faculty was good depending on the fee structure as well as top colleges also. The institution select candidates by taking an Entrance level test followed by a GD round and lastly conduct a PI for those who clear GD round.

For admission in NIT Agartala one have to clear jee mains with certain cutoff of the year of admission. The school and St students don't have to fee tution fee but they have to have other fees. The frequency of exam is once or twice in a year and difficulty level is medium to high. I got into this college through my jee mains score ,I was getting NIT patna CSE but I chose this college over that cuz I wanted to come here cuz of the extensive campus of 365 acres and its excellent sports facilities . Pros and cons about nit Agartala ??

Actually I made some mistakes during joosa counciling as by mistakenly the computer science engineering in specialization AI and ML .was got on top of my choise filling ..and i didn't noticed it ..so due to this from the starting of joosa counciling the choise was stuck there.and I was not willing to take addmission in GFTI and it's was too far from my home .and finnally at csab counciling i got into nit Agartala in this course also there was not vacancy in computer science and ece and electrical might be there was 1 seat ...so ...that's my bad luck So I prefer not to do such a big mistakes never ever during counciling it's more tough than the actual examination of jee ...Read More
