Remarks

I took admission here through a entrance test, called AUAT. Anyone who seek admission here, should have physics, chemistry must in 12th level. He/she may take mathematics or biology as the thrid subject. He/she should get atleast 50% mark in 12th standard and had to qualify the entrance exam to take admission here.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is well designed as per the UGC CBCS course structure and everything is well designed. Faculties are very talented, helpful, freindly. There taught really well. All of them are PhD from reputed universities all over india (IITs, NITs atec.). Most of them have post-doc experiences in reputed isntitutes. Teacher student ration is about 1:3 to 1:4. We can approach to them any time, even in the middle of the night for academic reasons and even for personal reseaons. Overall, it a very good atmosphere for learning.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 87600 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

for Bsc (H) in chemistry total fee is around 3.2 lakhs. There are several opertunities for scholarship from university level and also from government. At the end of the course, career developement cell (CDC) helps us for several campus drive. Campussing rate is more than 80% here. I opted for higher study. Teachers helps us for preparing the competitive exam and to take admission.

Campus life is beautiful. Huges green campus is very fascinating. Wifi is avaible in the whole campus. Other than this several social functions occurs in every year. ADINOVA, yearly fest is quite interesting.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.

I had applied to IEM kolkata, The Neotia University and brainware university simultaneously. I chose this college due to the excellent placements.
