Good Institute with perfect Placements!

The admission process was very fast. I took the admission just after getting the JEE MAINS result and within one day after counselling I got admitted in the college. To be eligible to enter this course you need to have a decent rank below 1lakh preferably in the JEE MAINS and have a good marks in (10+2) examination in the PCM subjects minimum of 70% is needed. You can get the admission form in the college office itself. Other than that if you want it more conveniently you can just visit the college's official web page where all the details time and date are being mentioned. You can simply fill out the form there and wait for the call from the college. After you recieve the call you need to visit the college for counselling and provide your necessary marksheets and certificates. As of now, there's no need for any changes in the admission process. It's completely fine and fast.

I had chosen this course because I always had a keen interest in connections, circuits and different parts of electrical engineering. So I had to choose this course in one of the best colleges available in Kolkata right now. It is a good choice according to me. The teachers are very much dedicated towards the students. Every time we face difficulty we just tell the teachers they just explain us so well that we perform well during the examinations. Every single faculty members are highly qualified and vastly experienced. They are either M.tech PhD or doctorate degree holders. They try to give their 100% effort on us and the students also cooperate a lot so that the process goes smoothly. In one word the teaching method is “excellent" The exams happen at their scheduled time. Few Unit tests and mock tests remain in the schedule along with the 2semester exams every year. The exams are of moderate difficulty. But for passing them easily just need to follow previous year's question papers!

Getting jobs from our college is not a big problem. Due to the high rate of a job giving our college is at the top in Kolkata. The student doesn't need to be that much worried about getting jobs if he/she studies at Heritage Institute I can guarantee that. After reaching the 4th year level or from the 7th sem onwards the students get the opportunity to get placed after clearing the interview rounds which are being organised by the college. More than 100+ big to small companies are in collab with our college so there's no tension regarding getting the job vacancy. There are plenty numbers of vacancies available in so many companies. The main companies like TCS, Wipro, Bajaj, Godrej, SAIL and many other companies come and recruits from our college. Till now 9.6lpa was the highest package offered and average packages range between 3.5-4 LPA. More than 60% of students get placed every year. That's an achievement for our college. My plan is got attend the job through placement by the college.

The fees is bit overpriced. But studying in any private engineering college it takes more or less the fees taken by our college. So keeping that in mind our college also has provisions for scholarships. Some months back the fees got hiked a bit, but now that problem got solved. To get the maximum out of the scholarship a student's marks in the higher secondary needs to be decent other than that the main factor is his/her family income must not be more that 1lakh per year. If this criterion meets then that student can study at the cost of almost free. Many of my friends who are from lower class backgrounds are getting benefited from this. Getting placements in our college is very easy. If you maintain a decent SGPA in every semester it's almost guaranteed you get a job with high package, that's what usually happens with every students. So no problem with that part!

The college campus is very large and the infrastructure is very beautiful. The students are very much attached to the college. They love to spend their time here studying and enjoying. Every year, the annual cultural fest takes place during the winter month of November or December. It depends on the time schedule created by the college authority. The fest is named as Sangam, where chief guests are being invited and students of our college performs in front of them and they give speeches and advices to the students for better career growth. Tech fest called “Tech-extra" happens during the time of April-may. Where the students take active participation in different fun events about technical activities. The library of our college is very big. I think there's hardly any book which is not present here. Every category book is there be it on engineering ,general knowledge etc. Apart from studies different gaming activities,tournaments along with social duties are being performed by students
