Anyone who has completed the +2 can apply for the entrance examination. The admission procedure is the university will conduct an entrance for Integrated courses(BA+MA)in various subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Maths, Statistics, Sociology, Political Science, History. The application procedure starts around midweek of June, you guys can apply online through University Website and choose the subject you are going to choose for entrance, there is no specific cutoff for any subject the seats are filled according to the rank list.

Exams and other semester following are done punctually without any delay or partiality among students, For a single paper usually there are two internals and seminar presentation and an assignment for forty marks and for science students it will also include Lab practicals and all. The semester exams are usually considered moderate not too easy and not that hard to score if you have a sound understanding of the discipline

Students can eligible for placements after 6 semesters companies like Cognizant Wipro and other huge IT companies have made placements over the last few years with annual packages up to 3-5 Lakhs. From a Department, almost 32percent of students get placed annually and my plan I have to pursue my pg in a specified area of political science like international relations or international political economy

Fees structure can vary for departments for Social Science students it's almost 16000 a year with caution deposit and other basic amenities fees included in odd sems it will be almost 13000 and in even semester it will be around 4000. And there are various scholarships for EWS, For Women students and for other reserved categories and so much economic aid for and waivers for girls in hostel fees and academic fees in a year

The Campus as a whole is about 750+ acres so many fest and tech fest, department fest, National Fest and other celebrations in various states can have a presence here and so many workshops that can be utilised by students. Classrooms are well equipped and a WiFi network is available for students across the Campus and in classrooms. Ananda Ranga Pillai Library is well equipped with an online database of available books and an Annexe which include a well-built reading room that is open up to 12am.

Room is allotted for 2 students hostel facility are available for every student enrolled in every department no need to search for alternative facilities. Well built buildings spacious rooms well maintained bathrooms and for water, various purifiers are placed in hostels and other areas also. Hostels are well supervised with warden and a deputy warden and security to provide safety but there are on restrictions for hostel entry and going out of hostel for girls and boys. Meals are of various types mostly it follows south Indian Tamil food types but there are chapattis Rottis and students can choose vegan or meat menu in Food Halls. Hostel and food fees are very affordable compared to the feed in pg or local rented stays. even If students opt for rented stays the locality is very friendly and peaceful
