Remarks

Eligibility criteria are that you must have to score well in MHTCET and the score required is different for a different cast. As I belongs to the General category and I wanted a CSE branch so I have scored 85 percentile You can find the application form in the student's section or on the college website. Details of reservations are emailed by the scholarship section.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good. All required syllabus is included in the curriculum so that one must be industrial ready. I have chosen this because of my interest in computers and programming, innovation. The faculty to students ratio is normal. Exams are held in parts as w mid sem and 1 end sem exam.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra offers internship in different area of interest of students. This internship may or may not include a stipend. The department bor colleges organize various projects for which students will be selected on basis of their knowledge. I have also worked on projects but on the department level.

Placement Experience

Campus placement is satisfactory. Various companies visit a college for placement and internship. The highest package offered is 13 LPA till today and the average is 3.5 LPA. Nearly 80% of students get placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you belong to the middle class you can easily afford to study in this college. The fees structure is different for a different caste. As I was not eligible scholarship so I haven't filled scholarship form but if you are eligible then you can.

Campus Life

Yes, there is an annual function organized called AARADHANA every year. The library is available in our college. You can borrow books from there also as well as you can sit there to study. Various sports and extracurricular activities are organized at the college level. There are social groups and clubs also formed by students such as NSS, Rotaract, etc.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. We can get addmission in GHRCE nagpur by after taking JEE AND MHTCET exam. The cuttoff of each branch is different for civil 75% is required. GHRCE nagpur have it's own site from where we can know about all the addmission procedure also the details of reservation is provided on site. I found the addmission process very easy and simple.
