The admission process is very simple and easy. After submitting the filled-up form from the college office you'll get a call from them and then you need to go to the college for further proceedings. To be eligible for this course you need to secure at least 70% in the higher secondary examination and get decent rank in JEE MAINS/WBJEE. The candidates can see the admission dates in the official website itself. As of now there's only one flaw in the admission process is that the process is very slow. This needs to fasten up to cover more students admission. Other than that everything is good.

Actually to be frank my father is also a mechanical engineer, that's why I wanted to follow in his footsteps. And besides that, I have a keen interest in heavy machinery. So that's why I had chosen this stream. Apart from that, the faculty members are very responsive and helpful. All the teachers try to attend to each and every individual student in their need. The teacher-student relationship here is more than that. It's like a family here. All the professors are highly qualified and vastly experienced. Their degrees are Ph.D., M.tech, and doctorate-based. So there's no lack of experience. Every teacher has almost more than 10years of experience in the teaching line. The exams happen in their scheduled time period. Few surprising test and Unit test happens throughout the year. And as usual 2semester exams happen every year. Passing the exams is very easy. If you just keep your focus in the class notes provided by the teacher you'll definitely get good scores. That's the success mantra for me!

Getting placement from the college is like wish for every student those who joins a college. So yes our college tries to maximize this thing every year. More and more number of students are getting placed every year to high branded companies like TCS, TechMahindra, Maruti suzuki, CapGemini and many more large companies. Students become eligible for campus interviews as soon as they reach the 4th year level. They go through several interview rounds and after cracking the interview they gets selected for the job. After successfully complete the course they can directly join the job they were chosen for. The highest package offered till date is about 9.5lakh per year. And the average package varies from 3.5-4 lakh per year. The rate of students getting placed every year is nearly about 65% which is very much appreciated by the students and parents as well. My intention after getting the degree is to join the company where my father works as engineer, or maybe through placement I'll join too

The fees charged by the college is pretty nominal. There are so many other courses included inside it that the fees are made worth it! The fees structure is very easy to understand as there's no hidden charges being taken by our college. It's just the fees you pay which are written in the price chart provided during the admission time. The scholarships are provided to every students those who apply for it. In my case I got some discount by applying for the scholarship. In many cases some totally needy students get upto 80% reduction in paying their semester fees. Which I think no other college provides in Kolkata. Every kind of essential financial assistance is being provided by our college. As far as the campus jobs are concerned it's placements are excellent. The success rate of placement is really high.

Our college campus is enormous and spacious. It's kept totally neat and clean and totally hygienic environment so that students don't face any kind of problems. Inside the college campus is totally anti-ragging zone where if someone even tries to attempt something like that he/she will be directly rusticated. So that's why the nature of the college is very calm and peaceful for focusing on studies. Every year our college has a tech-fest called “Mechatronix" which happens in the mid-year. And the annual cultural fest happens at the year-end. Where many eminent personalities come and perform on the stage of our college. Different fun activities with prize distribution also happen. Our college library is huge. Over thousands of books are available to read varies from journals to wildlife, engineering books, and magazines. There are few social clubs including social works are being done by the college students especially the seniors who conduct this and junior students also participates.
