NMAMIT review

The admission process was pretty smooth. I got in through CET. The application for the exam can be done online, the exam isn't that hard as it doesn't deviate much from the regular syllabus. The admission procedure in the college was done in one day for me. The documents needed to be submitted need to be prepared beforehand.

My course is Electrical and Electronics Engineering, I chose it because I had a passion for electronics. The faculty are all adept and highly qualified. The lecturers engage the class very interactively. The exams are held once in 1-2 months and are relatively easy.

The college has a very high reputation with regard to placements. Students are eligible for placemnts during their 5th smemster. Companies like Cognizant, Wipro, Bosch, Accenture, etc come for the placement drive. Almost all deaprtments have a 100% placement result with the few exceptions of those who go for higher studies.

The fees through CET come to around 80000 a year. The travel/hostel expenses come roughly around 25000-30000 a semester. Many scholarships are available like the SSP or NSP, etc. The college also funds student projects to help us improve our skillset.

The Campus life is amazing. The college has a lot of student-run clubs which regularly host some short programs. The college library has a vast collection of books. All the classrooms are equipped with projectors, the labs have the latest facilities installed to help students grasp a better understanding. Many sports are played in the college, with the college teams winning many VTU level competitions the facilties are one of the best in the region. The annual fest INCREDIA is something to look forward to.

The hostels are well-maintained. The rooms are divided on the basis of attached/ non-attached bathrooms, the rent varies accordingly. The food quality is pretty decent, the menu is decided by the final-year students every month.
