Remarks

Jee Main was the source of my admission. For the CSE course, the cutoff was about 22000. On the JoSAA website, there is an application form. Students are also admitted to IIIT NR through spot rounds and CG reservation efforts. I believe that the 50% reservation for NTPC and Chhattisgarh government students should be decreased to allow more brilliant persons from outside the state to be admitted.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

This subject appealed to me because of my strong interest in coding and computer science. In addition, the institute launched a new Data Science and AI course that is associated with this institution. Here, the faculty-to-student ratio is pretty good (around 25:1). All of the professors and associate professors here are highly qualified, having earned their PhDs from prestigious Indian universities. The term tests are on schedule (albeit we were a little behind in certain semesters owing to CoVid 19), and some of the courses are really difficult, requiring intense preparation.

Internships Opportunities

3

The majority of students choose to work as research interns. And, because this college has a strong Data Science culture, most of them want to recruit a data science intern, but there are plenty of opportunities for software interns as well.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement is excellent, with a score of 100 percent for the previous year, and the statistics are growing year after year. It provided an average package of 12 LPA to students working for prominent corporations such as Amazon, Microsoft, and others.

Fees and Financial Aid

In comparison to other NITs and IITs, the tuition prices are lower. The expense of studying is relatively low. Many financial aid programmes exist, however they are restricted to certain states or low-income households. I was unable to receive financial aid since I did not fit into any of the categories. Students are eligible for campus placements (after the summer break of the third year). For the whole eighth semester, students must perform a six-month internship at a company. 45 firms came to our college for campus placements last year. The biggest on-campus offer was for 23 lakhs per year, with the average compensation being between 12 and 13 lakhs. Since our start, we have had a 100% placement rate.

Campus Life

5

Technovate is the name of the yearly techno-cultural festival. The Student Activity Centre organises it (SAC). In the month of March, it is held. In addition, the entrepreneurship cell hosts an E-Summit to encourage young students to pursue their dreams of becoming entrepreneurs. The library isn't well-equipped, we only have a few volumes, and it's rather small. However, if you ask the professors for anything, they can make it available at the library. In our school, sports are played on a regular basis. We have a football field, a basketball court, volleyball courts, badminton courts, TT tables, and a cricket field, among other things. We also hold an annual Intra college festival called Aarambh. SAC is the umbrella organisation for a variety of coding, quizzing, machine learning, singing, debate, dance, and theatrical groups.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Students are required to stay in the hostel at all times. We will be staying in single rooms (or a double room for a single individual). Each floor has all of the necessary amenities ( Water, bathrooms, fire extinguishers, etc). The food quality varies, and it is sometimes edible and other times it is not. The mess committee is always working to improve the menu. There is no separate hostel registration process.

The College is the only Institute of its kind in Chhattisgarh. It has an average infrastructure and the campus is small in size. There are many few colleges in-country offering b.tech in dairy technology, the admission process is very simple and also the fees is very cheap as compared to any other colleges, the professors are well qualified and they provide overall a good environment for study.

The college was established in 2009 and is therefore still growing. The staff and facilities are working very hard to create exceptions and achievements. As the college is comparatively new from others. Therefore, more hard work can be seen in the part of faculties. This gives students studying now a great advantage to learn and gain more.
