Remarks

Eligibility:-HS pass with more than 70% marks. The application form is available in the college website www.rkmvccrahara.org. Last Year there was no application fee required. For more details about Application Form, Important Dates, Application Fees, Reservation Benefits please check the college website. The application process is quite simple. I think there is no need to improve anything in the application process.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosen this course because I was interested in mathematics. The faculty: student ratio is very high and well maintained. The faculties are highly qualified with excellent teaching method. The term exams are conducted as per the academic calender.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 12500 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college offers internship program with IITs and IISERs and many other reknowned institutes. The departments provides a lot of internship oppertunities. Mostly the 2nd and 3rd Year students are eligible for those internships. But there are many more internship programs for 1st Year too. The management help a lot to get internship to the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of the college is little bit higher than other colleges. There are facility of all the types of Scholarship eg Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means (State Based), Sitaram Jindal(Private), DST Inspire Scholarship.(Central).etc.

Campus Life

Some books and most of the journals are not available in the college library. The classrooms are well maintained and well accomodated. There are some problems with the Sports and Extra Curricular Activities Infrastrucuture . College's NSS groups takes part actively in various social activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.

RKMVCC a college that tries to make students shine

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is impressive as it includes all the importaint subjects of several entrace exams. On extra the college provides internships for real world problem solving. In case of Computer Science students are working at NIC, CU, IIEST, NIT Patna, IISC and many other as interns. Exam happend in evey 2.5 month March (mid sem) May(end sem) September(mid sem), December(end sem) and the difficulty level of the exam is modarate.

This is a Boys college so only male students are given addmission and one is eligible to apply for MSc Mathematics and Computing if he obtains a mean percentage of 50% up to the first 5 semesters of one's BSc in mathematics with almost 30 seats on offer and reservation of seats for the OBC, SC and ST as per as the government norms.
