READ AND DECIDE

The admission process is very rigorous not because of the difficulty of entrance but because of limited number of seats.There is no eligibility for the BMS course. Students from all the streams with maths or without maths can apply. You can apply from website. Also most of the seats are reserved for minority or Christian community thus for general the admission process becomes a little hard. But the admission process in General is apt for selecting best of the students. One thing I wish to change is the form filling part of admission process, first you have to fill the mumbai university application form and then you fill the college application form for entrances. For students living in mumbai it might be common but for outstation students it can be quiet confusing. But they opened the forms again so I filled it then . Rest I find everything perfect woth admission process like the entrance test. It's a perfect mixture of quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal ability etc..

I chose BMS course because it is a proffessional course. You get to learn many skills required in a proffessional ground like soft skills and presentation skills. There are two divisions in this course each with sixty students. We have one proffessor for each subject. The faculty is excellent and teaches in an outstanding manner with full interaction with students. The teaching method is practical that is first by explaing the concept and then giving us the case study to solve.The exams are every month honestly. This college constantly pushes you to study. And the exams are tough. You have to keep up with your studies to get throught the exams. Even in the online mode it is not easy to pass the exam without studying. So in a nutshell the exams are not difficult to pass, its jist you have to study hard to pass the exams and score good as well.

This is a government college. So it is not costly like provate colleges. The yearly fees is Rs 30,000. There are no scholarships but there are reservations. On campus you can get amazing placements which have a great return on your investment.

St Xaviers is famous for its fests all over the state. amazing fests happens like zephyrus, malhar, econundrum. These fests happen whole year. There is an amazing library in our college and many magzines have been subscribed by our college which ar epresent in our library. The classrooms are equiped with smartboard. There are many sports competitions happening in which are college participates and there are 50 clubs in our college covering all extra curricular activities. In our college it is compulsory to work in an NGO as well.
