There are no reservations provided by the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Computer science and engineering are some of the best course based on the job opportunities it provides. This is the reason I choose this course. The course curriculum is designed in such a way that it gives necessary understanding about the course we have opted for and makes us job-ready. All the faculties of the college are very supportive and provide support in all aspects. Teachers are highly qualified with most of them holding a post-graduate degree from NITs and IITs and some holding PhDs in their respective fields. The college conducts a series of exams every two months and the question paper is moderate. The internal exams have a pass percentage of about 80% and the end semester examination have a pass percentage of about 66%.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internships provided by the college are very high. Many major companies offer internship opportunities in college and an internship cell is working in the college which connects with all the major companies to provide internship opportunities. The largest internship opportunities are provided by Wipro and Infosys. The roles offered by the companies are that of assistant developer etc. These internships are a big opportunity for the students to get big industrial exposure and to develop their skills.

Placement Experience

4.5

This is one of the top engineering colleges in Kerala in the matter of providing placement opportunities. The college begins the placement drive from the seventh semester and many top companies visit the college regularly for placement-related activities. Major companies including Wipro, TCS, Infosys, etc conduct placement activities with an average salary package of around 4LPA. The highest package offered by companies is 15 LPA. Almost 65% of students get placement in the campus placement drive. The posts offered by the companies to the students involve software engineers, Software testers, Business analysts, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of study of the college is high as it is a private institution. The approximate cost study is about 6 lakhs. The college is not permitted to have any fees hikes because there are strict regulations from the government and University. College provides scholarships based on the academic performance of the students in the higher secondary level. Different categories of scholarship are provided based on the mark obtained by the students in their plus two examinations. Students securing more than a 95% mark in the higher secondary examination are given a full waiver of the tuition fees. There is no stipend providing activities in the college.

Campus Life

4

College offers different tech fests and cultural events. The college conducts this event during the even semester. Every year the college conducts the annual tech fest ASTHRA which is an experience for the students. Also, many other cultural events are conducted by different departments which all are a very pleasing experience to everyone. The college library is well maintained with a large collection of engineering textbooks and journals. The college provides digitalized classrooms with high-quality facilities. There are several social groups and societies run by the students in the college. Nature club, Jesus Youth, etc are very active in the college. Also, chapters of different societies like IEEE are very active. The annual sports meet is conducted by the college every year and many extracurricular activities are promoted in the college. College provides enough facilities for sports with separate grounds for each sport such as basketball, cricket, football, volleyball, etc.
