NIT Durgapur Review

NIT college is quite popular for its CSE program and their CSE program is most demanding. NIT Durgapur is listed among the top 30 best engineering colleges in India. The college infrastructure is very good and the faculty of the college is highly qualified with great experience. I was lucky enough to meet the cutoff standards of the college so with giving the second thought I moved forward with the admission process the process was very smooth for me and the staff was very cooperative and helpful.

The college curriculum is very good and we have to complete many assignments and projects to cope with the college curriculum. The curriculum helps us to understand the coding language very easily and the software programming importance in this technological era. The is a proper balance between theory and assignment and case studies so that we can understand every concept in detail.

The internship is very important for every one of us it plays a very important role to gain professional experience. We are eligible for the internship after completing the first year of our program and we have to register our names with the placement committee to take part in the college internship program.

The college provides a good placement for the CSE program. The college has a record of 100% placements and the college placement committee plays a very important role in it. The college placement committee is successful in inviting good companies and helping us in every round and making sure that we are placed with a good package. The highest package for my batch was approx 38 LPA and the average package was around 12 LPA.

The college course average fee is around 2 lakh but the package we receive is very good. The return on investment as per the college fee is very good. The college provides scholarships on a merit basis through Merit Cum Means Scholarship Schemes. The college is environment is very friendly and lively. Rectacssy is the college annual fest for which we eagerly wait because it is the 2nd largest annual fest in East India. The college has an NCC club where we can take part in the activities of NCC. The college library is the house of many bestseller international authors, The classrooms are big spacious, and properly ventilated. The college infrastructure is well maintained.

The rooms are available on a triple, double and single sharing basis. The rooms are big enough and properly ventilated. The hostel is very well maintained. The hostel wardens and staff work very hard to maintain the decorum of the hostel. The hostel mess food is good and tasty. The food is cooked in a hygienic space. The hostel has 24 hours of water and power supply. The hostel campus is equipped with a high-speed WiFi facility.

The faculty of the college is good and they are also very friendly. The college faculty is of Ph.D. level and they are experts and masters in their respective subjects. The faculty also have good research experience which is very helpful for us.
