IIT Kharagpur offers an MBA programme that is superior to those of the leading IIMs. Furthermore, the institute's worldwide faculty excels at teaching. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and a CAT score. For final selection, PI is required.

Internships Opportunities

The internships were fantastic, with the top stipend being 6 lacs for a two-month foreign internship. The average stipend for two months was Rs. 1 lac, while the lowest was Rs. 40,000 for two months.

Placement Experience

All students from the senior batch and current batch who applied for placements were placed. The average wage package provided was 16.50 LPA, with the lowest offering being 9.50 LPA and the highest offering being 27 LPA. The majority of the positions available were in consulting, general management, analytics, and operations.

Fees and Financial Aid

College also offers merit-based scholarships. Scholarships are available to SC/ST/PWD students through a variety of scholarship programmes. Campus Life

It boasts a beautiful campus with lots of trees and a fantastic natural environment. There are two classes, one for senior students and the other for junior students. All of the food was well-packaged and hygienic. Our college also has excellent Wi-Fi and housing facilities. Medical services were also excellent. Sports commuter was also excellent, and they host an annual sports meet.

The course covers the majority of management topics, and the college is now focusing on analytics. Subjects are required in the first year, and students can choose their electives in the second year. Marketing faculty members are excellent, while finance faculty members are plenty. The majority of the professors have earned their doctorates.

Honest Review of BIBS

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course only because of our HOD, but after completing my course, he left the course. He has helped us with all the things like web development and seo skills. By doing it practically for every student, he offers a domain for every student. I had difficulty with Google Ads & meta ads because it was taught by another faculty. The exam times were different by 3 months.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good and after the 4th-trimester students will be eligible for sitting in the final placements and after the 1st-trimester students will be eligible for the summer internship. Gartner, Big 4 and Grant Thornton like companies that hire in bulk with good packages but Gartner don't hire in bulk and it offers the PPO also after the SIP with around 17lacs, as of now I am not informed of the highest package because I still placements are going on so don't know right now. 97% of students get the placements from the college

Placement Experience:

IIM Calcutta has fantastic placement records. This year also it got 100% placement. There are offers for various roles in marketing, finance, consulting, operations, product management, and general management, and it involves the participation of world-renowned organisations. A total of 170 organisations visited the campus, providing a total of 520 job openings. IIM has a 100% placement rate, with the majority of the organisations coming from the consulting, financial services, marketing, and information technology industries. The highest domestic CTC was 60 lakhs, with an average package of roughly 28.5 lakhs.

IIM Calcutta is in an excellent location. There were 172 companies on campus, offering approximately 520 jobs. IIM C had a 100% placement rate, with the majority of companies coming from Consulting, BFSI, Marketing, and IT. The average package was around 28.5 lakhs, with the highest domestic CTC being 60 lakhs.

Remarks:

It is one of the renowned institutes in Kolkata. But after admission got the clear msg. It is renowned for its engineering degree only not for PGDM or MBA. They even dont have proper faculties to teach students. I majored in Business Analytics, but back to then in 2019 there was not even one teacher who have subject knowledge.

Remarks:

College course structure is good but as faculty are not good implementation is bad. Need company visit and better placement. More focuses on MBA rather than the additional courses. Apart from this, it's a good college.

Remarks:

The good things I like is that the teachers teach through the slides prepared by himself and also told student to prepare PowerPoint presentation and deliver in the class and also give different case study to solve the problem. Only missing thing is that the student are getting less practical knowledge as compare to theory paper.

The good thing about this college are the activities that take place every Saturday, which is quite interesting and knowledgeable. The bad thing about the college is that the departments are divided on the basis of their courses so the students do not gather as a whole bunch of college.

Since I was interested in getting into an IIT from class 11, and IIT KGP was the only college that gave the best branch to college ratio among all other IITs that I was eligible for based off my rank. The admission process for my college for B.TECH involves JOSAA, a counselling system for all government engineering colleges in India where the eligibility criteria is based off JEE ADVANCED rank. Since you can only select one college through JOSAA, the only one i selected was this as this was the only one I was alotted based off my rank. The cutoff for my college is around 12000 for General Male and 20000 for General Female. This increases for other categories like SC ST OBC etc....Read More
