I chose chemical engineering because I was interested in choosing a career in it, And the student ratio is pretty much good and the college environment is so great, We get a library with facilities like computers, and everything. In short, the environment to study is so great that every student will love this college. In fact the teachers and prof. Are so highly qualified that students get no doubt left. They will help the students as much as they can and they will give their valuable time to students. After teaching the entire syllabus there are exams which consist of mid-term [ 30 marks ] and major exams [ which consists of 60 marks ] and the rest 10 marks for attendance and assignments. Assignments are just tasked they are easy if u are attentive in class. The teachers treat so nicely and always provide their 100%. Students love this college as the weather is also great and the overall facilities are also great. Talking about the exams so they are easy if u are understanding in class everything.

About placement breakup, 53 students from NIT Srinagar have been placed in Balco Vedanta, with an annual CTC of Rs. 9.45 lakhs. This is the most number of selections that have been made by a company to the NIT Srinagar students 280 students were placed in different companies across the during 2021-22 session, even students were placed at Samsung R&D with a CTC package of rupees 20 lakh per annum (LPA). These students are also offered a. 6-month internship following which the students will join full-time. around 30 students. have been placed at Samsung SDS for an internship + PPO (Pre Placement Offers) of 10-12 LPA and with a stipend of 30,000. during the internship period. apart from this, there are six more months of the placement session left and many more companies. including various reputed PSU's are set to visit campus for recruiting more students. placement percentages for the respective branches stand as 74.6% in CSE, followed by ITE - 74.57%, ECE - 57.89

Then comes the important part of everyone's future i.e campus placement. Previously it was in offline mode where the companies usees to visit campus but now due. to the ongoing situation of COVID, we are getting a chance to get placed online. But college and CRC ARE trying best for us to bring as much as companies they can and this year a lot many companies came and I guess more than half of the college is placed. In the last year in the 4th year, the student gets eligible to get a placement. Various companies visits like IT, SALES ETC few of them which I remember is Tcl, by us, Capgemini, HCl, Infosys, Samsung, HDFC, and various core and teaching companies too. the highest package was between 35 to 45 L per annum and the lowest was between 5 L to 7 L per annum. This year so many students get the opportunity to get placed and few companies selected students as interns while few offered direct PPO, the student worked really hard to get placed.

The fees come after every semester [ i.e after every 6 months ] the students have the option to fill the fees from the online website of the college. The fees include 1] hostel fees. 2] mess fee [ if u are part of hostel ] 3. Tuition fees. The students with a category like SC ST AND OBC get a chance for a scholarship and the student with an income certificate can also avail scholarships. The college also provides internship opportunities to students and few students select internships on their own in which they are interested. And at the last year, the college also helps in placements companies like Samsung, TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Byjus, and many more come for campus recruitments in some companies students get internships while in another they get jobs the stipend of the companies are pretty good and now the company are recruiting student s online on the basis of online tests and online interview. Moreover, the college provides a chance for every student to achieve a good and bright future.

The life at the campus is pretty much cool. The students get a nice environment to study as well as to do other co-curricular activities, there are several sports matches and various cultural activities also various tech fest happen. The student enjoy and get to know about new things through all these. Then for studies, there comes a library, its the best library I've ever seen, students get all the books in there, also u get a variety of journals and other books to read which are very important, there s a lot of peace in the library, the environment is so peaceful inside the library, that student can read all day and night, they also provide wifi and computers in the library. Now about the sports so apart from studies there is this college gym which had all the machines and the cardio stuff and students enjoy every sport in the college like football basketball etc and various tournaments also take place, in short, the student to enjoy a lot at campus and with that they manage studies too.

Well well, the hostels are the best part of the college where the student gets all the home vibes. Our hostels are divided, there are various hostels in which seniors and junior lives separately. The wifi doesn't work much great but yea we use it sometimes. Talking of the room so rooms are good, not much as they are simple then comes the mess the good is good like average not pretty good. We got a chair and table in the room and a cupboard to keep all. our stuff. But talking about the weather it's a pretty good view from. the window is heaven, I mean it's so pretty so there is no problem in hostels.The students who wanted to apply for hostels facilities, get mess facilities too., if students get any problem in hostel or mess he can simply make a complaint in hostel ane mess office. The guards are 24x7 in the hostel to make sure everything is fine. Talking about the mess I don't like the food at all but it's a mess so I can't expect much so I would say everything is nice and every student likes it.
