Remarks

You have to need a minimum of 90 percent to avail of this course. You can find the application form at the counter of Hansraj college in Delhi University. Around 10 percent of seats are reserved for sc, st, obc. No, I don't want any improvement.

I choose BSc chemistry honours because I have a great interest in chemistry. The faculty members are very good. Student and faculty relation is very good. The faculty members are highly qualified with a PhD degree. Exams are conducted at an interval of 2-3 weeks.

At the urge of 3 year students are available for campus placement. Various companies such as Infosys, TCS, Wipro come for campus placements. The highest package offered by the company is 15 lacs per annum. Average package is of 7 lacs per annum.Around all students get placed in campus placement. I also want to get a job in campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of Hansraj college in Delhi University is very low as compared to other colleges. A minimum of 5000 rupees in a year is charged by Hansraj college. Various scholarships are provided by the college, Reservation benefits are also there. The packages got from campus placement is very high.

Campus Life

The annual fest is conducted in November. Tech fest is also conducted at Hansraj college in the month of March. Various books are available in the library. Students are always curious to read books in the library. Sports fest are also conducted in college but due to online mode of study, and due to covid 19, we didn't witness sports fest. Various eco club and fundraising are also done by students of Hansraj College.

A college review full of pros and cons

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core subjects are very well divided, the main problem arises with the other additional subjects which requires efforts as same as the other subject even though they don't hold any importance as such. Maybe reducing other subject or making them practical based instead of theory based would be helpful.

Though i think maths is a great subject as it is what gives birth to every field but within course it self its all theory and pure maths i thing real application would be appreciated we do have practical for 1 subject each sem thats it should he more.

The Life of A DRC student

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are moderate as the average package is ?6.5 lakhs and the highest package is around ?23.02 lakhs . Many prestigious companies like delloite, accenture have held various placement sessions in DRC and it's overall a good to place for companies to get high skilled students. The placement cell is very active too which makes it possible for our college to get many internships and placements opportunities.

i think it's very outdated and not of any practical use unless you go for research and scientific fields of science. it does not prepare much for the real world and current market but teaches about biology and chemistry which helps sometimes. the frequency if exam is fine.

Campus Life:

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically

KMC- Path to learn and grow

Placement Experience:

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.
