Remarks
One needs to be 12th pass from HS Science stream and get good marks in Neet UG to be qualified for Mbbs. The application form is available on the dmeassam website. It's easy and fast. I want them to reduce the admission fees.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose mbbs to become a good doctor. Faculty student ratio is 1:20, The faculties are Neet Pg qualified. The term exams are always conducted on time. The exams are always difficult to pass as the papers are of 200 marks in a single day.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is the toughest part of mbbs. There are pros too as you get to learn a lot during this period. We head to the different departments of mbbs like medicine, surgery, etc, and get a chance to serve patients. It is also the time when we get our first stipend.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees hike every year by 5-10%. The cost to study is quite high compared to other govt medical colleges. I didn't avail of any scholarships but there are a lot of scholarships being offered to poor and meritorious students.
Campus Life
Synchisis is the annual fest conducted in Merch every year. Books and journals are available in the library. The classrooms have projectors and desks and benches. The. College week is conducted every year where we get to enjoy a lot playing the different games. Gmcsu is the social group and JDA too
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms have got Bed, tables, chairs and wardrobe to keep our clothes and books etc. The meal is very good at such a low price. Fish, Chicken, Egg, vegetables , paneer are included in the menu The registration is done while admitting to the college.
