IIM Udaipur Review

I had always aspired to get my MBA from one of the IIMs since they are among the country's most respected universities. The application form is along with CAT only. I was able to enroll. The CAT score was used to determine admission. I was invited in for an interview round after being shortlisted, and my admission was decided based on questions related to my acads, internships, hygiene etc.

The program at IIM-U lasts 2 years and includes 6 semesters. Student to faculty ratio is 1:30 here. The first year is dedicated to fundamental disciplines such as finance, economics, and management, while the second year is dedicated to electives and specialties. In terms of academics, the teachers are PHD. Departments hold workshops and seminars from time to time, and well-known academics were invited to give lectures at our college.

There are a plethora of internships accessible. Appropriate placements are maintained. The highest stipend is 2.5 lakhs per month, with an average of around 1,25,000 per month. Brand Marketing, Market research, auditors, Operations, and other positions are available at companies. It is available for 1st-year students. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, etc come to the campus.

At IIM Udaipur, almost all of the students who took part in the recruiting process are hired. Tata, HDFC Bank, and Amazon are among the top recruiters. The maximum package available is 45-50 LPA, with the average package being 25-28 LPA. Roles being offered are IBD, Marketing, Sales, Auditing, Inventory management etc.

The two-year education costs roughly 14 lakhs. When compared to other options, this might be a bit pricey. However, IIM-U offers the opportunity to participate in world-class education, thus I believe the investment is worthwhile. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit and need like for students having family income less than 6 lakhs. You can also apply for government-funded scholarships to help alleviate the financial burden.

The infrastructure of IIM Udaipur is of the highest caliber. WIFI is available across the campus. A well-supplied library and a computer lab are available. The facilities that have been given to us are up to date and satisfactory. Every year, a tech festival and a culture festival are held. This takes place in the first few months of the year, between January and March, and is one of the most noteworthy events.

The admission process is pretty straightforward. CAT exam shortlist is needed, to be precise a score of 98+ percentile is needed for a general candidate with 75-80 in each at least. WAT and PI happen after it which judges your personality in and out. Preparation is mostly related to internal grooming only like preparing for general awareness and basic questions.
