Remarks
I was given admission here through my PESSAT Entrance Exam scores along with my academic record followed by a personal interview. I had to pay an application fee of Rs.1050 for the online process. The form was submitted through the university's official portal. I decided to join PESU after seeing an article by Times of India article saying that PES University is the second most preferred destination next to IIMB for B-School aspirants. PESU is ranked 6th in Top 50 Private universities by OUTLOOK India- ICARE rankings. Also, it is one of the Top 20 Universities in Karnataka state by the same rankings.
Course Curriculum Overview
My curriculum delivered a truly holistic experience to us. The first year was entirely devoted to core courses that lay the foundation to assimilate specialization courses in the second year. The second year of the program was very adventurous. We got the opportunity to learn by spending meaningful time within the industry and gain exposure through paid internships. Faculty participation at my institute extends far beyond academics and has an impact on many aspects of campus life. In addition to their instructional responsibilities, faculty members assist and mentor us by actively participating in their academic, research, and sports/cultural endeavors.
Placement Experience
Amazon, Cisco, Mahindra Rise, Microsoft, Honeywell, L'OrŽal, Bosch, ITC, Nestle, HP, Oracle, Amazon, Deloitte, Genpact, EY, Accor Hotels, Cruise Companies, and others have visited our campus. My batch received an average offer of around 7.50 lakhs. My institute's placements are excellent, which is one of the reasons I chose to attend this school in the first place.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I had to spend 5 lakhs every year to attend my MBA program at PES University, which meant that my whole education cost me 10 lakhs. The cost was high, but the ROI after completing the degree program was excellent. However, the school offered a variety of additional financial aid and scholarships that were either industry-sponsored or government-funded and can be obtained depending on academic achievement and eligibility.
Campus Life
There were a lot of groups and activities here, and the bulk of them phoned and invited us throughout our freshman year. Inside the school, we had to obey specific laws and regulations, such as a dress code. Apart from my excellent campus life here, I got to live in a magnificent campus with a massive infrastructure that featured facilities such as a dormitory, library, sports complex, fully-equipped classrooms, auditorium, and so on.
