Remarks

It is good enough and nearar where i live.its cost is less.it is well known for its geography department and practical labs are good and teachers are really good. It is also situated in centre of that's why transportation system is also good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes our geography department was really good.it provide good education and practical labs and educational tour also. From my point of view I would say that the educational tour is the main facility that is good.

Class Size: 54Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities are depends on students marks and knowladge. If they pass in the interview they get jobs other wise they have to apply for the from there own. But there many job opportunity nowadays.

College Events

Campus life is also good because there is unity in the college among students.there is no such unwanted activities in the campus. There are many college festival in the college such as college freshers, annual function,Saraswati puja and many more.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship available in the college but West Bengal government provide lots scholarship scheme to the needy student. Different scheme for different student such different criteria and amount for sc,st,obc, general student.

Campus Life

College infrastructure is somewhat good.as the college is old enough that's why somewhree it gets damaged but there is every thing in the campus like sport ground,libraray,well facilated labs for every required subject.

Hostel Facilities

There is no hostel facilities in the campus. one need to book a room near to the college.but availability of room near to the college are many and also in cheeper rate.rooms are also nearer to the bus station,market.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of the course is pretty nice with diversified subjects alsong with specialization subjects in the 3rd and 4th semester. Some compulsory subjects include Tagore Studies and Basics of Communication. The course also includes Development Communication, Online media, Journalism, Gender studies, Advanced Audio Visual Production. The department is well equipped a mac lab but it only have 5 macs. The curriculum also includes Design, UIUX, Graphics design etc, and the curriculum is continuously updating with moden media teachings. The curriculum mostly prepare us for Academic Purposes than Industry.

The admission process was smooth. 1st need to apply online. after that based on the marks, there is a merit list. After getting the merit list we have to pay application fees. After that college verification. Eligibility: Its's depends on the merit list. The sitting capacity was 97 on my time in 2019.
