SVC Review by a English department's Student.

Since class 10 I was chosen to take English honours. I was good at English and that was the only reason to take this course. After completing graduation the course helped me with my communication and also helped me to get a better understanding. The teaching method should be more modern and should be related to reality, I think it should be more helpful to real-world scenarios. The exam's timing, questions, and difficulty level all are decided by the university.

The fees were high as it was a government college but tuition fees and other fees were high. The total cost was approx Rs 35000/- for the whole course. There are multiple scholarships for multiple types of students, Like Aikyashree, Cast certificate scholarship (OBC, SC/ST), Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, and some other types of scholarships available. Multiple types of awards are available but not job opportunities.

The college committee conducts multiple types of cultural programs, Annual sports, Fresher's party, and more. It was fun and attractive, I enjoyed it a lot. The booking facility in the library is good, Our library is full but limited stocks, There are various types of books available. There is nothing like technological provisions within the classrooms. Yes, there were a lot of sports and extracurricular activities were there.

The admission process was smooth. 1st need to apply online. after that based on the marks, there is a merit list. After getting the merit list we have to pay application fees. After that college verification. Eligibility: Its's depends on the merit list. The sitting capacity was 97 on my time in 2019. Application details: All the application details like the Application form, Application fees, and application dates everything were available on the website. Exam: The frequency and timing was decided by the university. It was not that good. The exam difficulty level was high. Improvement area: The process should be more secure and website should be fast.
