The main driver behind joining Indian Institute of Management,Ranchi over other colleges was the placement and the return on investment it offered as compared to other similar colleges. Also the marketing domain in IIM ranchi is quite reputed as compared to its competitors.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is same as other IIMs, classes usually thrive on discussions and participation, faculties are great. Course syllabus could be updated given the same case studies haven been taught to our seniors and seniors before them
Placement Experience
Roles are great in most of the domains. In consulting companies like Deloitte, EY, accenture strategy visit the campus and offer roles like management consultant, advisory,strategy consultant etc. For marketing godrej,emami,berger etc come and offer roles like brand manager etc.
College Events
Events and extra curricular activities are the most awaited part of the year and sees huge participation by both senior and junior students. they are quite big and register participation from other b schools as well
Campus Life
Currently I am unaware of the real situation about the infrastructure as we are made to operate from home but as I hear from seniors the temporary accommodation is quite good and well maintained and the food is to die for.
