I was interested from child to become a software engineer so i have decided to study and make a career on it. The teaching method is very good and the faculty of this university is very good and i recommend all the students who are appearing jee or cee they should take admission in this university.

In the mechanical branch, almost 40% of students got placed in campus placements. Oil, NLR, IOCL, APDCL, etc., companies come here every year and recruit many students. Many coaching centers, private companies, and start-ups also came here. In CSE, almost 70% of students got placed in campus placements. TCS, Wipro, and many other companies come to JEC every year. The electrical and civil branches also have average placements, but in IE, the placements are not much good.

The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA offered by Oil and ONGC, and the less salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. TCS, Infosys, and Wipro are the other small companies offering placements in our college. Oil India Limited also selected students from our college and 30% from our class.

The cost of the study is not high because it is under government. and many scholarshios are available for the students those are studying in Diubrugarh university. The campus is too big and it is very beautiful.

There are 16 hostels with limited seats. Hostel seats are provided strictly on merit and first come first serve basis. Reservation of seats for S.C. and S.T. candidates is made as per rules of the University.
