Remarks

The entrance exam is Eamcet. The cutoff is around 3k to 4k in my category for the BTech course. You can find the application form, fees, and dates in tseamcet official website and vnrvjiet. Probably there could have been better awareness regarding the actual admission process to students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I've chosen Computer Science and Business Systems to explore both computers and business fields. The faculty-student ratio is probably around 1:25. Faculty are available at all times. Term exams standard is moderate.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 137427 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies that offered internship opportunities are Jpmc, Amazon, etc. Jpmc gives a stipend of 50000 per month. Projects are pretty much important for job opportunities. Mini projects and major products are being done in college.

Placement Experience

Students are officially eligible for placements from the third year. I'm not sure about the number but I can nem few companies visited like Jpmc, Service now, Amazon, Denson, Deloitte, TCS, Cognizant.The highest package is 98 lakhs. The average is around 8 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

I've recently got an internship at Jp Morgan Chase and Corporation, Hyderabad. It's duration is for two months. Stipend is 50,000 per month.Although its not the case for everyone, few students have grabbed this oppurtunity.

Campus Life

There are lot of clubs like Nss for social service, every they conduct various events like donating rice for orphanages,etc. Annual fests are organized so properly. It's a lot of fun experience during annual fests. Library is available all the time.

Decent college with good facilities

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Placement Experience:

Generally, students from 3rd year second semester are eligible for the placements. some, who are interns at a company earns the place to proceed for the rest of life. some others should try harder because they didnt get the internship. It is important to get internship. Companies do visit vasavi such as visa, silicon labs, cisco and more to pick interns or to pick engineers. percentage around 60-70 gets placed every year. Actually placements decreased after the recession.

I applied for CBIT, GRIET, and also they got confirmed. But first parameter I choose VNR VJIET is placements , Second one is tech and non tech events where I can have fun :). my college life

when i started looking for engineering colleges, ofcourse it was iits, nits, iiits frist then eamcet colleges and other private colleges. i always had in my mind i will study in cse core and that was my feild of interest . but i couldnt perform bit well in jee advanced so missed it. then i gave ugee fro iiith i lost in the interview round so i couldnt get into iiith it was a big blow for me. then the last option was eamcet because other private universities were not my choice and moreover my family is protective of me to send me to another state, so according to my rank i applied for cse obviously but along with that i put aiml as an option too beacuse ai was going to be the future. i suddenly gained this new interest in that field so i searched for which top clg in hyderabad teaches best in aiml so i came down to vnr vjiet so finally i got into this clg....Read More

Detailed review of VNR VJIET

I did chose this college because it is highest rated EAMCET college in Telangana. Vnr when compared to others is far better in curriculum and placements.the addmission process starts atound Feb of every year. There is also management quota . The only other college applied is cbit . I did not get the seat for my rank . The admission process is of three ways. One sis EAMCET exam and the other is jee mains percentile ( b cat) and the last one is nri quota also called as management quota.
