Remarks

The temperatures here go uppity 48 degrees during the summer. But the classes are all air conditioned

Entrance Preview

Cuk cet was the entrance and I got 9th rank in it. The new infrastructure and quality of teachers for the mess physics course attracted me.

Course Curriculum Overview

For first two semesters, we have to study the given syllabus. But for the 3rd semester we can choose an elective subject and the final semester is dedicated to project.

Internships Opportunities

It was very good. We are encouraged to do internships outside the country

Placement Experience

Research opportunities are huge. The certificate is very valuable as it is a central university.

College Events

Festivities are good here. But not as good as other universities

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are very low compared to any other central university. Hostel and mess fees are also very low.

Scholarships are available for the first 5 meritorious students in the form of fee waiver.

My Experience: The good and the Bad

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

In our department , 2 to 3 students are getting palcements. after i completed my degree , i want to research so i admitted in phd programmes.

BU needs more Improvement

Placement Experience:

After 3rd sem, we are eligible for campus placements. There'll be job drive for around 1 week where we get to attend. Commerce students get more opportunities rather than Botany students but nevertheless we get to work in medical feilds depending on interviews
