My University life

To get admission in msc microbiology in Vidyasagar University is to have a Hons degree in any branch of life sciences. The application form, application fees and application dates all are available on the official website of the university. The reservation policy was as per the Indian constitution. The admission process should be more rapid I think.

I was passionate about microbiology from my childhood days that's why I chose this subject. The faculty: student ratio is 1:9 All of the facilities have Ph.D. degrees and their teaching method is too much interesting. There are three exams ( two internals and one semester) in a six-month semester and it's not very difficult to pass the examination.

TCS, IISC BANGALORE, etc gave opportunities available in the university and they played a vital role. Tissue Culture, Cancer cell development, etc are to clarify the tasks. It helps the students in many ways in their future careers.

The students from the 3rd semester become eligible for campus placement. TCS, WIPRO, BISLERI, AMUL, etc visited no. Of offers are 1-10 in general. The highest package of 4-5 lakhs and the average is 2-2.5 lakhs in general. percentage of students getting placements is generally 60-70%. I want to be a food microbiologist and want to job in the food industry.

The fees of 15000 per semester is likely a burden to middle-class students like me, I think it should be reduced. I don't get any scholarship, financial assistance or job from the university campus yet now.

The annual fest of the university took place in the middle of August - September and the tech fest is conducted in February month. There is a big central library in our university and almost every type of book we need is in stock in the library. There are also many foreign journals available in the library. There are smart classes in every department of the University and audio-visual teaching method is available. There is an annual sports program is being conducted in the last week of December. There is a Facebook group named "VU FRIENDS " run by the students of the University.
