My Journey In MAC, Kolkata

Admission process was very simple . In this covid pandemic situation , I don't had to appear in any entrance exam . I submitted my application form through online then I waited for the merit list . Merit list is prepared by the marks of hs .If you have caste certificate like sc st obc then you have some benefits , some seats are reserved for them . But you need a very good marks to get admitted (e.g above 90%) I was selected for the admission . I made payment through online and My journey in this college has begin.

I chose this course because I love Biological Science. And according to the Trend, now a days Microbiology subject has a lots of opportunities and from the beginning, I had a dream to be a researcher And this subject is also best for that purpose . Faculty and students ration is 15:1 . There are 8 faculty members. Everyone has their PhD degree. They are very very helpful and friendly.

This is a fully government college so fees structure is very very low you can't imagine. This college is perfect for a poor meritorious students . You have to pay 1500-2500 rs annually depending on your course . Instead of these there are lots of government and private Scholarship like Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means , Kanyashree, Aikashree, Oasis etc

Campus is very small but it has huge infrastructure. They celebrate many festivals like puja , foundation day etc . College's has a huge library where lots of rare books are available . Classrooms are very clean . Lab and science department is fully ac .

The college has two separate hostels one is Baker Government Hostel for Boys and a girls hostel. Only Muslim students can apply in Baker government hostel but there is also a small hostel for the Nonmuslim students which is run by the college authority. College's hostel fees is very low 1358 rs annually. Baker hostel doesn't provide food and you have to buy your launch and dinner from the hostel's canteen ( price is very low egg and meat rice 30,40 rs) or you can eat outside. Girls hostels provide food you can't buy foods outside. The hostel is very clean . 2 students in a room. Approximately 600 students can stay in Baker hostel. I am writing this setting in my hostel room.
