Remarks

The eligibility of this course is having a BSC hons degree in any branch of life science. The application form, application fees , application dates and all necessary informations are available in the official website of Vidyasagar University. There are all reservations as per the reservation rule of Indian constitution. The whole admission process is online based. I think it should remain in upcoming years.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The future job profile for this subject is quite good. That's why I selected this course. The faculty: student ratio is 1:8 The qualification of all the faculties is PhD and their teaching method is very interesting. There is 3 exams (2 internals and 1 semester) in a six month semester. It's neither very easy nor very difficult to pass the exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

I think the fees of Rs. 13000 per semester and I think it should be reduced. It seems to bear this amount of fees in a middle class family like me. I don't receive any type of scholarship, financial assistance and job on my university campus till now.

Campus Life

Placement Experience:

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course depended on the fact that this course provides you with the opportunity to get various jobs in the industries with a high lpa. But this college does not help much in that aspect. All I had to do was myself. It is my humble opinion that the institution should improve its guidance in the area of its teaching methods. The exams were twice a year and were quite difficult on their own.

This year, three students of our batch, including me, got an internship for three months at Reborn through an in-person interview.
