The admission process is based on JEE MAins Rank. The councelling process is through the JAC Rounds . All the Reservation Benefits are there according to the JAC councelling. The Documents verifiction process is a bit hectic can be improved.
Course Curriculum Overview
i chose this course as i had an interest in the chemical engineering subject. the faculty to student ratio depends actually. if there is a lecture hall they can accommodate 100 students where one teacher delivers the lecture.Where as in the labs the class is divided into 3 groups so it's 30:1 in labs whereas 100:1 in classes. Qualification is excellent and the teaching method is also good. exams are on time and the difficulty is medium.
Fees and Financial Aid
the fee is very minimal as compared to the rest of the institutes within the university where as it increases regularly according to the department authorities. There are numerous scholarships and internships which are there in the university time to time and students can avail them.
Campus Life
The Annual fest is the CYANIDE which is the largest fest among the two fests of the college. it is conducted in the February-March months. we have a department libarary also but the AC Joshi library adjoining the department is the largest library of Chandigarh. The classroom is old due to the old infrastructure but labs are pretty Modern and well equipped. All sports facilities are available. All kinds of clubs and Societies are there in the college.
